Overall a 6.5/10. Food: Omurice- 5.5/10 Egg is well executed. However, demiglaze is more of a gravy, tastes pretty much like what you get from KFC on the mashed potatoes. The real miss is the rice, doesn't taste fried but more like white rice blended with tomato sauce. Soba- 7.5/10 Unlike the omurice, this is quite satisfying especially the runny egg and torched chashu. Flavour is well balanced. Drinks: Did not order coffee on the visit, will only comment on the following. Zen- 7/10 Cream foam is well balanced, not too sweet nor too salty will complement the tea well. Matcha base is good too but could be slightly stronger. Genmaicha latte- 6/10 The tea base is of better quality but for a latte it was very light body to an extent almost felt like it's just a tea without milk. Service & atmosphere is as good as it gets. Cosy sittings and friendly staff.

Gallette complete Omurice(+ Grilled beef) Honey butter toast 😊 Airy bright new cafe in the edge of Hobart CBD. The dishes were made to perfection and didn't miss any details. 'Gallette complete' was something that I never tried before and it was interestingly delicious. Crispy, cheesy, and savory with a truffle bechamel adding a fancy flavor. Could really recommend everyone to go this place to try this special dish. Omurice was filling and the extra grilled beef with it had a super high quality which made me surprised. In conclusion, so excited how this place will develop.

I was excited to try Erda after hearing and seeing such great reviews. The omurice was nice and a good portion, but the beef demi glacé didn’t quite pack as flavoursome punch as I was hoping. I ordered mine with a side of sautéed greens ($7) of which the pricing seemed inconsistent when compared to the other side of what looked like a generous portion of beef ($9). To drink I had the iced chocolate ($8), which arrived in a short tumbler, and again the price wasn’t quite consistent with what it was. The service was friendly enough, but we felt rushed to order - and then were not offered any further drinks after our first drinks were cleared. Payment can only be made by paying 100% or splitting the bill 50/50 - no paying for individual items, even for groups...

I recently visited ERDA and had an absolutely amazing experience. Honey butter toast is highly recommended, it tasted super nice and was the perfect blend of sweetness, with very fresh strawberries. The eggs on toast that my partner got were buttery and cooked exactly how she liked them. The bread that was provided was super soft and delicious, slightly sprinkled with salt, making for a comforting meal.

We also tried the iced matcha and iced coffee, both of which were very good and refreshing, nice wake up coffee for the start of our morning. To top it all off, the view from our seats was great, offering good view of the mountain sides in Hobart. Overall, ERDA is a fantastic spot for both the food and...
