Not just a cool name, this local craft brewery has become the "local" for a lot of us inner city dwellers. Without doubt the attraction of Fox is the range of locally brewed craft beers, with pale ales being the main selection. Fox is really emblematic of the explosion in the craft beer market in Australia. Whether it be the fruity back-taste of the Wingman, or the aptly named Moonah Pale Ale the range of craft brews will keep you coming back. The only issue for most of us was the alcohol % of some of the beers. Its a good thing we walk there from home because even after one pint of Wingman you wont be driving home. The atmosphere is great, and with the original high ceilings you don't get that loud noisy blast that you get in a lot of places. Well worth the visit.

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting an exceptional establishment. The ambiance was truly remarkable, creating a welcoming space that perfectly complements the enjoyment of craft beer and fine food, all supported by a fantastic team. Initially, I intended to visit solely for the beer; however, I learned about this venue only today and seized the opportunity to experience it. The highlights of my visit included: Outstanding Food Exceptional Beer Relaxing Atmosphere Impeccable Service, characterised by a deep knowledge of both food and beverages. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this restaurant, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable experience. It is undoubtedly worth a visit.

Went during the Jack Jumpers finals and had an early dinner. Ordered some food while watching the finals was a nice touch. (Congrats Jack Jumpers!!) The atmosphere was nice as everyone bonded through the team's win. It's nice to see everyone so hyped up on something and great that the place had the game on multiple TV screens. The food, on the other hand, was not bad either. Onion rings were crispy, and the fries were delicious !! 🤤 Probably some of the best fries I've ever eaten. Sadly, the mac & cheese hot dog did not hit. For $20+, it was very plain and bland. Overall, it was a nice experience. 😊

Great food, very nice range of beverages made eating here a pleasure, kitchen staff are on-point and efficient. Drink prices are good, food is more expensive than expected but high quality.

Lack of staff here (at lunch time on a Friday!) really hurt service time, and also led to crowding around the bar to be served. There was a line of ~20 almost the whole time I was there. The poor lone bartender was getting smashed, and they could only pour so fast. I don't know if this was a roster problem or a management decision, but it really detracted from the experience. Staff were friendly and professional, they did everything they could, no hate to them.

I also didn't like the modern theme (strange mix of rustic and modern chic, darkness and brightness) and hated the music, possibly I'm just too old for the scene. :P

Would love to come back and try the rest of the delicious menu, but would temper my...

Our party of 11 was looking for a simple meal on the eve of a family wedding and this turned out to be just right for a simple meal and drinks. Fox Friday has a variety of beers, hot dogs, burgers and some starters. It's a nice big space with ample seating, with TV screens playing sports events and table shuffle board for the more active. On Thursdays, the special is any hot dog and an IPA for $20. On Fridays you pick any burger and get the same beer for the same price. Hot dogs and burgers came with chips. But the prices are friendly enough without the specials. Service was quick, considering the number of people there that night, and friendly. The group tried several of the beers and enjoyed them. We walked but a couple who drove had to park some distance away. Credit cards are accepted and disabled access...
