Hobart Mosque — Attraction in Hobart

As a Melburnian visiting Tassie, it was a pleasure to visit the only mosque in Hobart. It’s a bit unfortunate that it’s the only mosque in the capital city of Tasmania, but alhamdulillah, at least there is one. However, we did struggle a bit to find the entrance as there wasn’t a big sign indicating where it was. Once we drove inside, we realised, “Oh, that’s where it is!” I was also surprised by how steep it is, as it’s built on top of a hill.

For the male toilets, it would be helpful to label which is which, as I noticed one was a store and another a shower. It felt awkward opening doors to figure it out. That said, the mosque overall is cosy, and the views from it are absolutely spectacular,...

Hobart Masjid is a beautiful and welcoming place for worship in Tasmania. The location is ideal and has ample parking. The mosque is well-kept, offering a clean and peaceful environment for prayer. The view of Hobart from inside the mosque is pretty nice. Nice, cosy & comfortable Masjid to perform your Salah. The Masjid is pretty decent size with wudhu, toilet facilities & separate women's area. Plenty of parking space at the top or the bottom parking area. There isn't any noticeable sign when turning into the small street, so trust your navigation system/Google maps when it asks you to turn 😅, especially since the mosque shares the area with...
