I used to buy coffees here often when I lived in the area - most of the staff are friendly and they serve their coffees with a Jaffa which is cute. I have brought family along for breakfast, and today I suggested it for a date with my partner. Unfortunately I will not be coming back. She ordered eggs on toast with a side of avocado. The side of avocado - which was $5 - was just half an avocado with the skin still on. They went to zero effort and charged a 500% mark-up. When you go out for breakfast you expect to pay a premium for very simple meals, but to my mind such blatant overcharging with absolutely no effort to value-add is an insult and just shows utter contempt for their customers.
When I raised it with the staff member who was taking our money, she had the gall to tell us "that's just what it costs". I could have gone to the supermarket 2 doors down from them and bought a full avocado for half that price and sat it on the plate. The cost of living crisis is hitting us all, but I'm...

WOULD NOT RECCOMEND this place what so ever. utterly disgusted & very disappointed ginger...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAbsolutely love their Brown Benedict and Slow-cooked Lamb. Place can be packed during peak hours and the weekends so I recommend getting there early. Service can be really fast or slow depending on the crowds. Recommended place for a nice brunch.
Updated review: They've changed the menu significantly and removed some of the really good stuff. The new souvlaki bowl tasted weird; clashing flavours that don't work together, beans and roast pumpkin? Some coconut tzatziki thing? Sorry but it just tasted odd.
My friend and I are regular customers and would always order the previous slow-cooked lamb salad bowl. Unfortunately, with the menu's revision, we will have to look towards other brunch places because the food just didn't really work out. Their old lamb salad bowl was just superb, which got revised to a burrito bowl and then completely removed.
Credit to where it's given, their coffees and pastries are really good. Would come again if the old stuff are...
