Amazing! Perfect! Such a balanced, flavoursome and fresh meal. I had the Terriyaki don, edamame and pork gyoza with my partner. It left us perfectly full and we felt great after. Why haven't I tried this place earlier? I've lived here for 2 years and this place is towards the top of my list of good places to eat now. Certainly, number 1 for places to go in Kingston (never going back to bento). Closer to my home at Margate which is great news. I don't have to travel all the way to Hobart for 'Hobart quality food.' So excited to try the Ramen with gluten free noodles next time! Also, they have great options for dietary requirements and not an overly complicated menu either. Atmosphere and table service is spot on. Happy!

Immerse yourself in a culinary delight at this exceptional Japanese restaurant! The attentive and friendly staff elevate the dining experience, ensuring you feel welcome and well taken care of. For a unique twist, try grinding sesame seeds into your bowl for an extra layer of taste. Make this restaurant your must-visit spot in Hobart for authentic Japanese cuisine. The balanced saltiness of the tonkotsu ramen sets it apart, making it a must-try dish. Opt for the set menu to enjoy a variety of delights at great value. Start with the classic tonkotsu and explore other tempting ramen options on future visits - a dining experience that will keep you coming back for more.

Ordered 1 classic and 1 red ramen. This place is by far one of two best ramen I have tried in Tasmania alone. The tonkotsu broth is delish, portion is good, charsiu pork is superb and flavourful, eggs are perfectly cooked. Staff is nice and friendly 🙌 Date: 14/12/2021 The place got a nice vibe of Japanese restaurant. Worth a trip from Launceston to Kingston only to try this ramen place as I couldn’t find many places offering a decent bowl of ramen 🍜 Will definitely come back if I get a chance to come to Hobart 👍 Second time visited: 18/9/2022 Still the best ramen I tasted so far in Tasmania.

Nice casual spot for your Japanese fix. We’re staying around the area and so glad to find this gem. The gyoza was cooked nicely, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. Had the black pork chiasu ramen and I found the broth a bit over powering but it might just be personal preference. I’ll try the original one for a clearer broth if given another chance. The stand out dish for me was their sashimi tartar sushi tacos! Fried Nori as the ‘taco shell’ with sushi rice inside topped with sliced cucumbers in a sesame soy dressing that balances the creamy mayo salmon tartar so well . My only regret is I don’t live in Tassie to have access to this anytime! Customer service was also attentive in addition to the...

21/04/2023: Update from my previous post: Better to do reservation. This place is famous and always packed. We didn't make reservations for my last visit (mid week, approx 6pm), and we have to wait to get the seat.

The food? Well, excellent, as always. They maintain the quality damn good! 😍

Visited this place couple of times, tried different flavour of ramen and sides. Love the Tonkotsu red - ramen with mild spicy flavour - and tonkotsu black (tonkotsu classic with black garlic oil). The soup is warm and rich with flavour - very comforting. We aslo tried takoyaki, chicken karaage and crumbed oyster. All delicious!

Please do reservation to ensure you...
