Meal Odered: x2 Salmon Chu Chee; x1 Jasmine Rice; x1 Beef Stir Fried Rice; x2 drinks; x1 desert (fried ice cream)
Method: Dine In for Two
Total Price: $126.35
Waiting Time: reasonable
Service: Highly professional and considerate. Waitress was professional and attentive to our table. Very patient with our requests and welcoming. Consistent from when we arrived and when we left.
Environment: Neutral decor that was not distracting as many other places. I loved the fact that I was not being bombarded with stereotypical images and dusty statues, but a more minimalist clean environment. This space was modern and bright.
Although the door let in quite a breeze, the staff offered us another table (but we declined as we loved the spot we were in) and when they could closed the door when customers left it open. They even had indoor heaters to ensure patrons were comfortable. The problem really came from inconsiderate customers not closing the door behind them.
Menu book: I don’t normally review Menu-Books but this one was Well presented and we couldn’t help but admire the effort and consideration taken in this area. Felt like we were reading a recipe book with how the book was artistically put together.
Food: Amazing. Presented better than expected and our taste buds were awakened with sweat aromas and gorgeous colour waves. Every dish had something special and it felt like we were celebrating a special occasion rather than an average lunch time meal.
Cons: Bathroom is outside the restaurant. Bench seating cushions a bit hard and uncomfortable, but maybe that was just me because my wife found them not a problem. May be it’s a guy thing.
Overall Experience: Exceptional. More pros than cons. Food and Service was amazing. Great decor. Wish I could rate more than 5 Stars. Will definitely return and would definitely highly...
Read moreThe experience was about the worst Thai food experience I have ever had. All the dishes were bland, lacking flavour, lacking main ingredients. I will never get food from there again. Not worth the $123 it cost for 3 people. We ordered red chicken curry, snow pea prawns, crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli and veg fried rice. The pork belly was nice, however could have had more pork, it was hidden behind all the greens. The red chicken curry was very watery and lacked any curry flavour - definitely no spice or kick like one expects from a red curry. I think they had run out of both curry paste and coconut cream, as it didn't taste of anything again lots of veg - probably the worst curry I have ever had. The snow pea prawns were very light on - 5 prawns in total with an enormous amount of veg for a $27 dish I expect more than 5 prawns. Again a bland dish and the main ingredient was hidden behind the vegetable. The fried rice was again bland. Don't waste your time or money getting food from there. I really do not know how it has the...
Read moreFor how much it cost, I was completely unhappy with the taste and portions(quantity) of the food.
Tom Yum Koong costs 27.90 dollars but not filling AT ALL! It had 6 prawns and I think it should have had 8 prawns at least! and something more that makes it feel full!!!
The taste of the Tom yum Koong was not great either. I think the Tom yum noodle that you can buy from the supermarkets tasted better. If you want to know what their Tom yum Koong tastes like, just get a Tom yum noodle from supermarket and add 1 tablespoon of sugar. It would be quite close.
The taste of the dish that only had shellfish were okay but I was getting so sick of chewing the bits and pieces of broken shell. Every time I eat this dish, I had to spit out the food and it made my hungry tummy EVEN MORE HUNGRY!!!! 🤬🤬🤬
The WORST THAI RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN IN AUSTRALIA!!!!
