Disappointing experience today. Had reserved and confirmed a table for six. Upon arrival discovered a full restaurant and no booking held. After some delay a round top was added to a table for two to create a larger table. However, this solution encroached severely on neighbouring tables. Just one attendant to serve the whole restaurant plus a busy takeaway counter led to long delays. Preference was given to takeaway customers while in house diners waited. A wait of 1 1/2 hours is not acceptable - tables were served haphazardly at random. One of our group had finished eating before anymore dishes were served. This happened at all tables. Such a gem in Kingborough. It's so hard to find Chinese restaurants that make good chinese food around Kingston, and I am glad we found this place. The sweet and sour that my husband ordered pork was so delicious! I can't recall what I ordered for myself, but I remember being disappointed that it didn't look and taste like what it should be and still impressed with the flavour. They were just so good. Update: we went back again for the 2ppl banquet. There was so much food, and we weren't able to finish it. I regretted ordering the honey chilli chicken as it was wayyyy too sweet. We only went in as a last minute take away dinner and received possibly the best chinese meal we'd ever had. Crispy pork belly was perfect, special fried rice was packed with fresh ingredients and beautifully cooked, and even the spring rolls and dumplings were obviously hand made with expertise and care and were delicious.
