I ordered a smash burger 3wks ago via door-dash & it came without lettuce, onions & pickles even though lettuce, onion & pickles are the topping that’s listed. Mistakes happen so last week I ordered the smash burger again but that time I also rang the burger shop to remind them to include the 3 toppings. When our burgers came everything was on my wife’s Big Boss burger but it was again missing the lettuce, onions & pickles from mine. A few minutes ago I called Brown Burgers to enquire about the 3 missing toppings on my previous 2 Smash Burgers & the lady said they took the 3 toppings off that particular burger months ago. I double checked the door dash menu & right there it had lettuce, onions & pickles as topping on the Smash Burger which I told the lady. She just said they hadn’t updated the door-dash & Uber menus. I then asked if I placed an order through would they honour the toppings which states loud & clear it comes with lettuce, onions & pickles. The lady said it would be up to the kitchen staff. I asked her to please ask them now before I ordered & I said if they wouldn’t honour the menu that I’d go elsewhere for our burgers. I heard the lady mention lettuce, onions & pickles, door dash & uber menus. When she came back on the phone she said the cook said no, he wouldn’t honour the menu which they hadn’t updated & it would be 50c extra for each of the 3 toppings. I said oh ok, I’ll order from somewhere else thank you. We’ve never known such stinginess, the owner now missing out on $40 worth of burgers because he hadn’t updated the menu & refused to honour the advertised...
Read moreWoeful. It even worth 1 star. The food was ok, but it was filthy dirty in there and I couldn't bring myself to finish my meal at the thought of what the kitchen looked like. The walls were marked with food and stains. There was tinsel still up from Christmas. There were spelling mistakes on the menu. The sign on the door said "please shut the gate". The worst thing was the freezing draft coming from the kitchen doors. It was freezing. I sat under the heat pump and still was shivering. I had thermals and a thick hooded jacket with a beanie on and was still cold. As approached the counter to pay and leave, the waitperson asked if we enjoyed our meals. I started to tell the waitperson about my experience, beginning with the temperature. He was quick to tell me that the heater was on. I said that there is a definite draft coming from the kitchen I was freezing. He said "oh that must be the delivery door that is open". No empathy at all. I didn't bother telling them that the food was actually tasty but I'd left almost a full plate and full coffee because of the state of the place. Read moreOne lady staff dropped a scoop of icecream while putting in the cup for ubereats delivery and tried to put it but she looked to me and didn’t put and another staff came and he put it there. I was trying to stop him, said please don’t put it, it was dropped on the floor but he finished putting it. Instead of realising and feeing sorry, he was yelling at me, Don’t teach me, this is my business. I tried to stop him and put new icecream better and its good for customer who have ordered. I pointed the icecream that was dropped when i told him for the first time and he came outside in aggressive way and face to face, saying why did you point finger, cancel the order and get out of my business. 😳 really unbelievable. He didn’t touch me but i called the police and he made a reason that i wasn’t polite. But karma knows the truth.
Seeing that, he doesn’t care customer health. How could you eat the food which was rolled over on the floor where we wear the dirty shoes. Being a Chef, I will be complaining food safety council as well. You can’t play with customer health....
