McDonald's Rosny Park — Restaurant in Hobart

Rosny Park McDonalds was packed but the atmosphere was tense, customers were standing around being disgruntled and expressing how long they had been waiting for their orders.

One customer was annoyed that they didn’t have any barrister staff on shift, when looking at the counter it seemed like they might not have had enough staff working to cope with the orders that they were receiving - honestly the place was disorganised chaos, staff didn’t seem to know how to pull all the individual items together to complete orders for the customers that they had in store but the uber eats drivers had no problem getting their orders in quick succession.

I witnessed a number of customers who got fed up with waiting and either asked for their money back or just left.

One lady had been waiting for more than 2 hours and it took other customers kicking up a fuss for her to get served and finally get what she had paid for.

Other people were waiting for 30 to 45 minutes. I had been waiting for just over 1 hour when another customer decided to complain on my behalf, staff were given my receipt but still kept asking what I had ordered.

When I finally got my order I was left disappointed…. smooshed ice cream cones, cold happy meal and cold fries, warm flat fizzy water no ice - probably melted with how long the drink must have sat around for as it was at room temperature when I received it.

They also forgot to give me the apple juice drink...

Ordered a sausage and egg mcmuffin, plus asked for a Seniors coffee. Was charged for both. Then told that it was too late for a mcmuffin. So, ordered a small burger with a slice of cheese, which used to be $3.00. Now $4.95. But a small burger is $2.00. Which makes the slice of cheese $2.95 . This doesnt make sense at all. I had paid for the order, but wasn't offered a refund, for being charged for a seniors coffee. Asked for a refund for my seniors coffee, plus the difference between the burger and the muffin. I was given a refund for the coffee, had to go back a second time to ask for the refund for the difference between the burger and mcmuffin... The female was very reluctant to give me the refund. offered me chicken and chips instead. I had the burger, so didnt want chicken and chips, a o said no..just wanted the refund. Was again offered something else instead of the refund. There was also a long discussion about the seniors coffee. The service was very bad, the staff don't seem to know what they are doing. The meal was cold. I certainly won't go back there. I would advise any customer to find out the price first, make sure you get what you ordered, check your receipt and check your change. Double check if...

My child had a birthday party today and it was terrible. We had one host for 13 kids. The poor girl was run off her feet and although she tried to go above and beyond it was just too much for her. I have nothing but praise for this poor girl she gave everything she could and was devastated that she had not met our expectations. The manager was spoken to about the disorganisation and didn’t seem to care! My child’s birthday cake went missing until 15 minutes after the party was meant to end and I paid for the premium party which the birthday child was meant to receive a signed poster from everyone who attended he didn’t receive this he was also meant to receive a gift he didn’t get this and each child was meant to win a prize with the games and nobody got this. I complained at the end and the staff were so rude and still had to pay for the premium party. I will be taking this further and will be letting everyone know about my child’s 6th birthday party ruined by the staff at Rosny Park McDonald’s! And I will be dropping a gift off to the poor girl who tried to make things right for us who in the end was crying and...
