This is truly a gem of a cafe restaurant. Absolutely amazing experience here.

Came here for some breakfast and coffee.

The food was simply incredibly. Beautifully cooked and displayed on the plate. The hash browns were crispy and fresh and divine. The tomatoes were cooked perfectly and slightly caramelised for that perfect sweetness and umami. The spinach was tender and soft and amazingly seasoned. The scrambled eggs were cooked just right and had the perfect amount of seasoning. Altogether the breakfast dish was perfect and so good!

My companions had eggs on toast and crossaint with jam. The eggs were cooked perfectly sunny side up and the bread was toasted till crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The jam was delicious and refreshing and the crossaint was flaky and tender.

The service here goes above and beyond to make sure your time here is amazing. They're very welcoming and friendly and knowledgeable.

The coffees and drinks were extremely well made and perfectly hot and yummy.

The ambience is earthy and warm and welcoming. Wood and bricks everywhere. The seating is comfortable and the space is very spacious. It's actually quite large and plenty of seating to choose from. We loved the couches near the wood fireplace. What a great and cosy experience it is to drink coffee in this corner.

Overall we were extremely impressed and happy with the fresh delicious breakfast and the hot coffees and the yummy pastries and amazing service. You should definitely give this...

Today I was embarrassed and humiliated by what I took to be the owner. I was loadly and angrily told that sitting down was limited to 15 minutes. Our home was destroyed by bushfire, which is a rural property, east of TUMBARUMBA, in a sub alpine area of sub zero temps. After 5 months of waiting the property has been cleared and building can commence. Having had to retire because of the destruction home is a canvass Camper Trailer until the new year. With no internet and poor phone reception I needed good reception to use Google Earth to design a site map for the home and email the builder so plans for council can be prepared. As I had to go to Albury on business relating to the rebuild I called in here. I explained I my situation and what I wanted to do and was given the ok. NO ONE SAID SITTING WAS LIMITED TO 15 minutes. I called in because I usually call in when going to Albury; especially since Covid 19 and have stood outside waiting for a coffee, when I didn't really need a coffee. I started going there because they appeared to have a fewer customers than the very popular bakery across the road. So from now on I will ensure that they have at least one extra seat because I will no longer be going. Karma being what it is the person I was talking to in Albury lives in Holbrook and was alarmed at what happened to me. I like Holbrook, especially the gem of a second hand bookstore. A long review that reflects the depth of upset felt by the very public...

We attended this cafe on 19/12/2024 for some brunch. I picked it based on the number of grey nomads with motor homes and wearing Hawaiian shirts that seemed to be seated out the front eating, figuring that this was a good sign, and I was not disappointed. The prices are what you would expect from a food outlet at a rest stop on the Hume Highway, however what sets this cafe apart is the exceptional quality of the food. No disappointing, day-old refrigerated service station sandwiches here. There were a lot of options to choose from in the pre-made display, which looked like every item had just been made, but also a menu to order from. I ordered a fruit salad, a California roll sushi and a Green Dream smoothie. All the ingredients were very fresh and healthy and it tasted great. The sushi would have been good quality even for city standards. The smoothie had banana and mango in it, so it didn't taste like your typical "green" drink, but it was a well balanced taste. There was something on the menu for just about everyone, no matter what their dietary restrictions - low sugar, gluten free, MSG free or vegetarian. The cafe was spacious and comfortable with lots of light. Whether you are in a rush and need a brief respite from the hurly burly, or are taking a trip at a relaxed pace, this is the ideal venue for a snack, a light meal or a hearty one. I highly...

Found this place really good for a quick stop on a Tuesday morning. Had some great outdoor seating too. Didn't take too long to serve and the coffee was fine. Worth coming to again in case you need to make a quick stop in the area, especially with friends/family. The guy ahead of me swore by their raisin toast but I ended up having a more traditional breakfast. Left with a full belly. Wonder why they're closed on Monday's.

We stopped here on our way to Canberra. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly man on the coffee machine. The ordering was seamless, lots of different food on display in the cabinet. We had a chicken caesar salad and a fish wrap. They were both really lovely and fresh. The coffee was really good too, that's very important for Melbournians 🤣 Thank you J&B's
