Kangaroo Valley General Store Cafe — Restaurant in Kangaroo Valley

Stopped here about 5 weeks ago on a Saturday, the day before lock down restrictions came in for Sydney (where I currently live). This cafe is incredible, the hospitality was on point, the staff were super friendly, breakfast was hearty and yummy, and the coffee was next level. I ordered a second, something I rarely do.

What has prompted me to write this review now is because my partner and I also purchased 1kg bag of coffee beans which we have recently switched too, for our at home coffee machine. Let’s just say, the coffee brought back great memories, it’s by far the best coffee roast I’ve had in a long time and I very much look forward to my morning coffee at home during lock down, which looks to be for the foreseeable.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had, especially based on the reviews. Was charged $4 for a babyccino... even more expensive that a small coffee from some cafes.

Asked for a soy latte for myself, and was given one with regular milk instead. Unfortunately, only realised this after we drove away and I had my first sip so couldn’t go back to ask them to remake it. Great Kangaroo Valley vibe and quality. My review is for the coffee, take away staples and atmosphere at this stage as I have not had a chance to spend more time at the cafe.
