Cashier took long to understand order (probably a new worker). Kept thinking I wanted katsu udon when I asked for katsudon (rice bowl). Food took almost an hour as they didn’t activate the buzzer and our food was just sitting there for a while. Ordered a katsudon and did not get what I ordered - no eggs and drenched in tonkatsu sauce - basically just got chicken katsu and rice, but the amount of sauce made every bite taste like tonkatsu sauce, I couldn’t taste the actual food. No apology or compensation from staff. Horrible service, horrible food, not worth the price. Supposed to be a Japanese restaurant but the staff seem to be Chinese / non-Japanese. My 2 girls had food poisoning yesterday! They bought the tuna cucumber sushi and prawn katsu sushi. After eating half of it my 7yrs old daughter complain of severe stomach pain! I she look so pale and feeling so weak! After 10minutes my eldest daughter finished her sushi roll and complains of headache and sore tummy.So we decided to just go home even if we just arrive. So on our way to the parking my daughter vomitted so bad she felt embarassed and cried because the people are looking at her! After few minutes she vomitted again! There was plenty of different restaurant but Japanese restaurants just hits differently. I always loved Chiken Katsu and this time it was chicken katsu curry. You can't go wrong with a Japanese rice, they always have nice taste and texture. The chiken was a bit crunchy but not crispy. The sauce was truly a katsu style so they got it nicely done. The food came out relatively quick and they provide spork, chopsticks and some napkins but at the time there was only one left for me. For $14.90 the portion was good and being in a food court there are plenty of seats. If you want and it's a good weather you can also sit along the balcony for a nice view of the Perth city.
