Absolutely shocking experience. This was hands down the worst attitude I’ve ever encountered in any restaurant — anywhere in all my life.

My wife was blatantly disrespected twice by a staff member named Edna. The first time was simply for sitting at a table that was "apparently" for staff but not marked as such, second time for asking if someone could clean a table as they were all dirty with food markings on the tables — a basic, reasonable request. Edna responded with an aggressive tone, a hostile attitude, and a stare that made my wife feel incredibly uncomfortable — as if she had no right to even ask.

We had already paid for our food, but because of Edna’s repeated disrespect, we decided to cancel our order and requested a refund — which we were given.

To be clear, we had originally returned to Red Rooster because of a fantastic experience with a young woman named Leeta earlier in the day. She was warm, kind, and welcoming — a true asset to your team. But Edna’s behavior completely erased that goodwill.

When I calmly asked Edna why she had spoken to my wife that way, her only reply was, “That’s how I speak to everyone.”

To the owner or manager: If that’s the standard your staff are allowed to uphold, you won’t see returning customers. A business is only as good as the people representing it at the front. Right now, that representation is a problem...

Third time at this red rooster and definitely the last. Not one good experience.

I ordered the BBQ bacon box- no where on the menu board description did it say it comes with a stale, cold, untoasted bun, an overcooked rock hard chicken tender instead of a piece of fried chicken and cold hardly cooked chips. I thought the piece of chicken it comes with would save the day…. But nope, I received the smallest chicken wing known to man kind.

Absolute waste of $21- crap burger, horrible chips and a tiny piece of chicken.

Also why is it like it’s always the employees first...

Visited around 3 on Fri arvo, the young woman who was behind the counter was brilliant. Super fast, serving both counter and drive thru, she was polite to all the customers, speaking loudly for a customer who didn't hear so well. I could see only 1 other staff member in the back. This woman deserves a pay rise. In comparison, stopped at maccas after for an iced latte and there were 8 ppl working there wandering around, my drink gets put on the counter with not a word - I had to ask if it were mine!! Chalk and cheese, you have a fabulous...
