Cripps Nubake — Restaurant in Launceston

Re one loaf of Cripps Masterloaf bread, which was purchased from Meadow Mews Coles and which was mouldy the next day... I phoned Cripps about this (not bc I wanted any recompense but because I simply thought Cripps should know). I guess like many others in tough times though, with prices doubling and food, (etc) containers smaller, there comes a point where one needs to object. HOWEVER, my complaint was received Very pleasantly with a possible explanation, and an hour or so later I had, not one but TWO beautiful fresh loaves delivered to me. I would like to say a very Big Thank You and that this 'genuine old-fashioned courtesy' was very very much appreciated. Not only was I grateful for the courtesy but I also congratulate Cripps on keeping their Bread sizes as large as they do. I have been searching for a bread I can enjoy bc that one loaf per week is all I buy and the bread I was buying has halved in size. I bought a pack of pizza bases from Woolworths, Devonport on Thursday 10th July and it has a use by date of 12th July. When I took the pack out of my shopping bag, both pizza bases were broken. Also, one of the bases had an ugly join one third of way across! Bit disappointing to say...
