I'm a big fan of open kitchens. I have one in my cafe. I believe that if a customer has an utterly dismal meal they deserve the right to hurl it at me. Fortunately for the chef tonight, the terrace doesn't have one. The heart of a steak sandwich is yes the steak and this sad piece of rubbery flesh was not only overcooked rubbish but appeared to be cut out using a pack of cards as a stencil. I have honestly never had such a measly and dismal piece of meat since my end of season footy BBQ in '86. It was supposed to come with bacon but of course that was missing altogether on both mine and my friends sandwich. The saving grace of the evening was the wonderful and apologetic staff member that waited our table and really couldn't do enough to appease us and the situation. Unfortunately he seems to work for a kitchen that takes little pride in their product or the nourishment of their customers. So sad as last time I came here it was fairly priced and quality food. Come on people I know it's lismore but you can do better than this....

Look lunch took a fair while to come but food was delish, service was friendly and the bar tender was great. It was 2 days before new years and they were run off their feet but you would never know.
