WARNING BEWARE OF AUSTRALIAN VENUE CO!
Let me start by saying I have owned this business for over 10 years have my vending machines in over 50 venues and not once have I ever had a machine and its contents stolen ever.
I own a Breathalyser vending machine business, and I had one of my Breathalyser machines located at their Beenleigh venue, and it was installed on the wall at the venue since 2014! I visited the venue regularly to maintain the machine and also PAY the Australian venue co a cut off the profits from the machine. This was all put in place with a signed contract from the then venue manager. I went to the venue to do my normal collection and found My Breathalyser machine no longer on the wall! I spoke with Blair the manager that day and all that was relayed to me was excuses. After patiently waiting for weeks and having nurmours emails ignored I finally got in touch with Sinead Sweeney and Simon Caruso. They asked me to supply the contract which I did and also the invoices showing the split between myself and the venue. Keeping in mind I put this in there venue free of charge. I paid for the machine and paid for the installation into their venue.
Both Simon and Sinead ignored me for months and the way I have been treated has been absolutely disgusting. For such a big company their management skills are abysmal. They had their legal team reach out to me and stipulate that I had just days to accept an offer of less then 10% of what the machine is worth and that I would have to agree not to spread any information about this to the public.
They have tried to claim the machine was never in place. Asked me multiple times to supply them the contract every person I’ve dealt with has asked for a copy. Asked for receipts of payments from the machine, all of this was given. I asked to view their cctv footage it will show my machine on the wall. They declined. The fact i showed up and did my part of the agreement and PAID the Australian venue co and now to be treated this way is appalling!
And I'll now be using all avenues to recoup the cost Australian venue co has caused me

Read moreI went to Beenleigh Tavern Bistro with my partner and parents a few months ago and the food was top tier and was delivered in a good time. So when I went back today with my partner and coworkers, I was very confident in my choice of Beenleigh Tavern. We went to the sports bar and ordered food at 3:30 pm. I ordered my partner and I's food off my phone, the other two we were with ordered their food about 10 minutes later.
Everyone's food came out around 20-30 minutes later, minus my plate. No big deal, I had a few allergies tacked on, so it would take a little longer. It then gets to 45 minutes and I have no food in front of me, everyone else is eating and I have had no communication with any staff about where my food is. So I go up to the bar and talk to the staff there. They said that the chef had made a mistake with my allergens and was recooking my food. Fair enough, glad they're correcting it, but someone very well should have come up to the table and told me that. The staff member I spoke to said that it would be out in a few minutes. I go back to my table and continue waiting.
It then got to an hour waiting, everyone else at the table had finished their food and had their plates taken away and I still had not received my food. A staff member (who I'm assuming was the manager) came over, apologized for the wait, got me a free glass of water, a $20 voucher, and said that the food would be out in a few minutes. It wasn't until 15 minutes later that I finally received my food. The grilled chicken was sweet for some reason, the fries were cold and the steak was alright, but lacked flavor.
It wasn't exceptionally busy and I feel that the 1hr 15min wait time was handled very poorly. Also, with that wait time and a $50 meal, a $20 voucher doesn't really cut it. I had to sit there and eat while everyone else at the table had finished eating, it wasn't a good experience at all. Read moreI am not sure what magic mushrooms a previous reviewer was on when they posted about the culinary wizards of this place as we certainly did not get this last night. Firstly, we arrived and waited and the waited to be seated, along with another family in front of us. We waited… and waited… and waited until someone from my party and the family in front went to look for someone. Finally someone came and we were taken to our reserved table. We ordered our food and specifically asked for the mains to be brought out much later after the entrees. We were told this would be ok. Our entrees arrived… their current special was tiger prawns on salad. Really can’t go wrong here to be honest, and it was very delicious. However, I only got started eating and then our mains came out 😳… I told the waitress what on earth are we to do with that when we have only just started eating our entree… she just looked at me and said sorry and put the plate down wherever she could. So while I ate my entree, my already cooked main of steak and vegetables sat there getting cold. I then finished the entree, and had to start eating the mains with no break in between. The rump was beautifully cooked although the Diane sauce was questionable… maybe there was magic mushrooms in that… who knows as it was not edible. I didn’t get to finish my main as, one, I was too full… and I was saving some room for the strawberry cheesecake that I had seen another reviewer post on here. The strawberry cheesecake came out and I was flabbergasted… I even asked the waiter if this was the strawberry cheesecake, to which he responded ‘yes’… well I’m sorry, but a vanilla cheesecake with a chocolate biscuit base and tiny slice of strawberry on top is not a strawberry cheesecake and certainly looked nothing like what I saw previously. It was full of sugar and tasted absolutely horrible. Talk about a rotten cherry on top end to the night. Would I come back… probably as the entree and mains were at-least tasty, was I disappointed…...
