China King Restaurant — Restaurant in Logan City

The service was extremely poor. Courses coming out way too slowly. And they did not care. On Chinese Lantern Festival Day, 5 of us went to the restaurant to celebrate and ordered banquet B at around 7:30pm. After an hour or so, which is around 8:30pm, there were only soup and entree served. The crab and corn soup tasted no crab at all. The entree were all deep fried and nothing special. And there should be at least 5-6 courses more to come. At the same time, the next table came in later than us with around 10 people had already finished their fruit, which is the last course on the banquet menu. Our kids still felt staving and we asked for our next course, the waitress only replied "It's coming. It's peak hour." It was over 8:30pm. The restaurant was only half full since we came in, not even busy. After another 5min, there was no sign of our next course and the kids were getting irritated, we would like to know where were the rest of the dishes because our kids were still very hungry, and the reply was "It's coming. I don't know how long. That's what the chef said." The waitress replied with a calm voice and expression showed that there was nothing she could do and didn't care. Then we decided to cancel the rest of the courses and only pay for what we ate because it was late and kids were irritated by the hunger and exhaust. The restaurant tried to charge us almost HALF price of the full banquet with only 2 out of 7/8 courses in the menu. Because the waitresses said that the chef told them to charge us with original prices. We felt ridiculous and refused to pay for the original prices. Then they only offer another $5-$6 discount. During the entire communication, they never apologize or felt sorry at all to keep us waiting and waiting. We had been to many restaurants at peak hour every week, never been to any restaurant showing no repect to the customers like this one before. This terrible experience completely RUINED the festival mood. Don't bet on your chances coming to this restaurant. We had done it for you. There are other Chinese restaurants with delicious food and excellent service. Won't coming again. We would leave no star if the...

Food isn’t too bad. Ordered over $230 of food took it home and didn’t receive part of the meals. Called straight away told them they missed containers of food in the order and was told to drive back and get them (couldn’t as we had kids to feed after waiting all that time and then the drive was half hours time back again) instead was told there’d be a credit or we could collect the cash for our next visit to the store. Called a week later to order another $200 worth of food and mentioned the credit, after explaining the situation, the worker going back to the date to from the first order claiming this never happened? cross checking old orders? Yeah sounds legit doesn’t it? Because I’d RANDOMLY call asking for my $40 worth of MISSED FOOD that I was told would be in credit with this RIP OFF STORE!!! And how crazy am I to literally be ordering yet another $200 worth of food again!?! Customer service is a circus. Thank goodness I had this experience to never spend our families hard working money on such a rip off store. Happy to provide proof like I stated on the phone, call logs through our phone bills ect....

An old fashioned Chinese restaurant . We had been on the truck working late and needed a quick bite. First visit but its reputation preceded it and deservedly so . We had chicken and vegetables and mixed omelette with gravy and both were fresh and tasty and fast to the table. I had not finished a can of lemonade before it was paid for and we were off to our homes . This dining room is aged and well lived in but its spotless and clean and the lights were sunlight and the cleanliness was obvious - no dim lighting to hide housekeeping that's not up to grade - full light and starched white tablecloths. My coworker took the doggie bag and was adamant that it was good cold for a late night snack . Unusual to even receive a take out these days from any restaurant . The price was good value for their high standard . China King would take the prize as the best Asian dining experience in most if not all of Logan city . Well done and good luck gi be there in another 25years...
