Charcoal House — Restaurant in Logan City

I was so sad to get my uber order today from Charcoal House. I've ordered the tawook meal a few times now and it has always been so amazing!! It's very pricey at over $30 but it's so tasty and healthy. Unfortunately today, I was feeling really unwell and couldn't drive down so I used uber. Firstly It took such a long time to arrive and then when i opened it, I had only half a piece of Lebanese bread & it was stale and dry. And the portion of chicken was not much and not much rice. The rice is already only small but this was sad. It still very tasty but for a meal at $31.99, half a piece of very dry bread, not much rice, not much chicken and not even a full container of salad was really very sad and disappointed. It left me feeking a bit ripped off today. Maybe cause im sick my energy attracted it. I love their food usually. I think for that price atleast a full piece of Lebanese bread not half. But I guess they can't be the best...

Me, my partner, and our daughter went in for dinner and were absolutely blown away. We ordered the whole chicken meal and the charcoal plate – and let me tell you, the chicken on both plates was next level! So juicy, packed with flavour, and that house marinade on the whole chicken was unreal.

The lamb was delicious, but the real stars were the sauces – especially the chilli! Bursting with flavour and perfectly balanced.

The staff were incredible – so welcoming, warm, and genuinely made us feel like family. They cleaned our table before our food came, handled our big order with no issues, and delivered amazing service from start to finish. Even with three orders ahead of us, they had our massive meal out in around 25 minutes – super impressive!

First meal of the day and I was thoroughly impressed! This random dinner choice exceeded expectations. We ordered the mixed charcoal, orfaly wrap, and Texan chips - oh, those chips! Perfectly paired with the cheese sauce, I couldn't get enough and had to ask for more.

The mixed charcoal was well worth the price with all its inclusions, and the wrap's crunchy texture complemented the juicy meat beautifully.

What truly stood out for me was the exceptional customer service. It is one of the vital aspects of hospitality and can either make or break a customer's day. Friendly staff made all the difference, solidifying this restaurant's high ratings.

I'm eager to return and explore the rest of the menu.
