We came here in a group of 3 and ordered the salty fish pork belly pot, water spinach and the oat butter prawns.

There was plenty of salty fish in the pork belly pot and was quite flavoursome - so much so that we had to order more rice just to finish off the dish.

The stir fried water spinach was standard. It is hard to get it wrong though so it met expectations.

The oat prawns were delish and is their signature dish. This dish is a must-get if you come to this restaurant. It's hard to describe. It's deep fried, with a bit of sweetness to go with its savoury flavour. It's very fragrant and very well balanced.

Staff were very friendly. If you pay by cash, you get a further discount. When we overpaid, the owner came rushing out of the restaurant to return a $10 bill. A very honest boss!

Parking is a slight annoyance since parking spots are quite limited. It is possible to park on the streets though but I wouldn't say it's easy.

I found the airconditioning to be really cold though! It was already quite cold in the evening. I felt like I was in a cold room but nothing that a warm jumper or jacket can't solve. Better cold than hot I guess!

Overall, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would personally come along to try some of their other...

Very bad experience!! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Decided to try this place out based of the many positive reviews and how close it is to our house but that was a HUGE MISTAKE!! Ordered numbers 23, 17 and 51 and all orders were served in very small portions, little meat and mainly rice. The sweet and sour chicken was good but the garlic beef lacked flavor. my salty fish fried rice tasted like the rice was cooked prior to today, barely any fish and tasted overcooked. When I called asking for a refund just for the salty fish fried rice was told that I was wrong and they wouldn't give me a refund even though I was told at the beginning of the call they'd refund it if I wasn't satisfied with the taste. I had to go into the store with the barely touched container of food for her to actually go talk to her boss about refunding it as it was obvious by the amount eaten that we did not enjoy the food. When I explained why it wasn't good she told me again that I was wrong, told her I had it previouly and she said "no you haven't it doesn't suit your taste buds that's why you don't like it". She was very condescending and was one of the worst customer service experiencs I've had in a very long time. Would HIGHLY recommend to...

It's a favourite amongst the local Malaysian community, yet this has only been my second ever visit (the first being over a decade ago). When a friend suggested a meetup for lunch, it was a definite yes from me!

Our group of 6 adults and 1 child shared the following dishes, mostly from the Yahoo specials section of the menu: rendang beef, $17.90 - dried coconut curry beef marmite chicken, $17.90 - chef's special sauce with marmite, honey, tomato & hint of spices Guinness stout belly pork, $18.90 - chef's special sauce with Guiness Stout Malaya nyonya prawns, $21.90 - king prawns stir fried in hot & sweet spice chilli mee rebus roti canai rice cendol, $4.90 - pandan jelly, palm sugar, and coconut milk with read bean topping Total $128.10

Pretty happy with all the food and it was a decent feed for a touch over $20 per adult. Glad we decided to add on some cendol for dessert cos it was a sweet and refreshing way to cap off the meal. Saw at least 3 other tables there with people from a local Malaysians FB group, so that goes to show it's pretty legit. They expanded earlier this year so can fit in more people / larger crowds if you want to bring the whole...

When an eatery has the confidence to set up shop in the middle of nowhere, no other restaurants in sight, with a bustling atmosphere inside. I knew I was in for a treat. I actually was recommended Yahoo in Mt Gravatt and I’m not sure if these restaurants with the same name have a familial relationship, but because we were visiting friends who were travelling from GC, we met them halfway at Yahoo in Waterford West. I really enjoyed the dishes that were selected but my friends felt that the dishes were nothing special (they’re spoilt for choice Sydneysiders.) One of the highlights for me was the marmite prawns. I’m a sucker for things that are crispy on the outside, succulent on the inside. The service was okay, a bit slow but understandable due to the restaurant being quite full.
