Noodle Box Waterford West — Restaurant in Logan City

31/10/24- Did not know this place is also Double Dragon Dumplings because had I known I would not have ordered delivery from here. . The special fried rice was so dry that they couldn’t even break it apart, had chunks of white rice stuck together and it was bland. The kway teow noodles and dumplings were below average, nothing special or fresh and for the price it was not worth the portions we received. Wasted our money tonight and to top it off we got a nice warm bottle of Pepsi.

My partner and I placed an order this evening and I tried to contact them directly after placing it to alter something…. I called multiple times over 10minutes and was answered and hung up on twice and answered and not spoken to twice. This is not the first time they’ve done this. Absolutely disgusting practice for a business and we will not be ordering from here again.

Edit: received our order…. Satay had no sauce and the chicken was over cooked and dry. Spring rolls were cold. I paid extra to have snow peas and capsicum added to my Thai seafood combination and they weren’t added. I got 1 prawn and 2 pieces of squid. It was bland and flavourless And COLD. A HUGE Food safety issue. It went in the bin. Not risking food poisoning for Christmas Thankyou. Absolutely disgusting. $40 on something I could’ve cooked 20x...

The food is consistently average, so never felt the need to review until tonight. I've tried other Noodle Boxes in the past and remember them having more flavour. The combination box smelled a little funky at first, but I've put worse things in my mouth I guess. Seemed to get fresher towards the bottom.

Also, the "Spicy Satay Chicken Skewers" were just unseasoned plain chicken on skewers. I'm guessing they forgot to dip them in the seasoning/sauce. They weren't even warm. My dog thoroughly enjoyed them though.

It was kind of annoying because I only ordered Noodle Box tonight because of the promotion they had on the skewers.
