After a long stressful day house hunting in Toowoomba on Friday my wife and I decided to get a meal from Dominos in Beenleigh.
We had ordered 1x pepperoni 1x margarita pizza and 1x beef & Onion. We had also ordered a $5.00 snack box and a 5.00 chips.
The total cost was $25.00
I know that for that price you probably canāt expect a lot from places like dominos but this was a next level disaster. My wife and I have had dominos from other stores around Queensland and it had been far better.
This was our experience with dominos Beenleigh store.
To start off The chips tasted like the were overcooked and then reheated in a microwave both in the snack box and the five dollar box of chips.
In terms of the snack box we only got one buttermilk chicken not the two that are advertised and they were far smaller than what is advertised on the website as you can see in the screenshot. The dipping sauce was flavourless to and tasted like it had been watered down.
While we only have a photo of one out of the three pizzas weād ordered being the beef and onion.
I can assure you that the other pizzas looked virtually the in that they looked they had been burnt to a crisp left out for hours and then microwaved. The only difference being the topings on each one.
They were all chewy and like eating a piece of carpet with sauce on it. The beef and onion pizza particularly only had three strips of onion that were so small and spread out that Beenleigh Dominoās may as well have not put onion on it at all.
What I find absolutely deplorable is the fact that Dominoās has shrunk their standard large size to at least a medium and made what used to be their largest size the extra large would you now have to pay an extra three dollars for on each pizza.
My wife and I were left with a terrible meal that gave us heartburn and tasted like a mixture of kitchen sponges and carpet with sauce on it.
I feel absolutely ripped off. If dominos would like to rectify the situation a good start would be giving us our money back rather than a voucher because I would never shop with Dominoās again. This experience reaffirms why I only like to buy pizza from independent local pizza shops where you actually get exactly what you pay for.
any observant person who compares the meal we received with what is advertised on the website would probably think that Dominoās was participating in a false or deceptive advertising.
I have also screenshot the size difference between the new version of a large pizza and what they make you pay for in order to get āan extra large pizzaā which Iām sure used to be their standard large pizza.
Please if youāve had a long day and you want pizza spend a little extra dough at a local independent place where everything is fresh...
Ā Ā Ā Read more(2022) So decided to give them another chance and sadly this was it for me !! We ordered 3 pizzas which 2 were fine but the loaded pepperoni was not. It was not loaded and barely had any cheese on it. Iām done with this store, canāt get orderās right, reneging on what was promised to me when trying to fix up there stuff ups !!! At this point I donāt want replacements I WANT MY MONEY BACK !!!!
(2021)
Usually the pizzas from dominos are good but this time they were not. I ordered the new bbq beef brisket and there was no beef brisket at all just tomato onion and bacon and to top it off I was charged $2.95 for the upgrade and Iām trying to figure out why ? The chicken supreme seemed like it was missing toppings too but couldnāt put my finger on what it was. The only positive to this visit was I got a free garlic bread for having to wait longer for my order.
2 updates: (2021) Had a delivery order that was 30 mins late from the expected arrival time. The GPS tracking for said delivery was turned off. The pizzas were cut incorrectly and they were not hot.
Decided to give them a call at 9:30pm and I was put on hold for ages and there was no answer, this is becoming the worst Iāve...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy friend and I wanted to celebrate tonight so figured we would get some pizzas. Terrible mistake. We ordered 3 pizzas and went to collect them. Arrived at the store as the site said it was ready 5 mins before we got there. The pizza wasn't even ready by the time we got there and I watched them box it up after 5 mins standing around and being ignored by all staff, many of which were standing around doing nothing. 2 of the pizzas were the wrong toppings, the other one was only topped properly on HALF the pizza. All 3 had almost no topping, were covered in spicy sauce that we didn't ask for and tasted so disappointingly bad, and the churros we ordered were burned. Called up the manager to request a refund and he kept telling me to come back and get free pizzas, so I kept refusing and saying I didn't want to return, just wanted a refund as per Domino's policy. He refused repeatedly and was very rude.
Extremely disappointed. Will not return to this store. I've given up on Domino's at this point, their pizzas are grossly undertopped and for the same amount you spend, you can buy from a local pizza shop and support local business. Find a local Pizza shop and go...
