Grubbies Burgers Hawaiian BBQ — Restaurant in Logan City

Service was great by the counter staff, however the food took a very long time to come out. We got 2 burgers which also come with chips but we waited over 35mins for our order. The burgers were pretty good.... nothing too special about them. To me one almost tasted like a McDonald's big mac burger (double grubby burger)..... only bigger! The Luau burger was on a different level though! It was a great burger! In the shop they had this guy walking in and out thn into the kitchen, he gave off a very weird and awkward vibe to a point where my wife said she changed her mind about eating in and instead we ate in the car where she felt safer. He blocked off the bottom of the stairs with his car that would also lead to the outdoor dining area. Not sure if he was drunk or on something else (illicit substances). Went to Grubbies Logan with some friends. Had the double grub with loaded fries and misses had a combo platter. Great value for money, meals are a big serving. Burger was fantastic, a tad oily on the underside of the bun, but a great tasting burger! Loaded fries were solid. Combo platter was tasty. Misses didnt like the chew on the ribs, but I enjoyed it. If you are thinking the ribs will be tender like an eye fillet, then its not for you. If you like a bit of chew on the ribs then this is great!!

We went faily early, luckily we did as it got busy very quickly! Just about every kiwi on the southside was in the shop!!

Heaps of seating outside, fairly loud indoors. Parking is average, but plenty in the surrounding shops.

We had dinner here for the first time tonight. I had never heard of this place prior to Today and the husband wanted to try it. Let Me just say that you can taste the actual love and passion that has gone into the recipes to the final product itself. We ordered the double burger, mixed plate and the chicken burger. The buns for the burgers were delicious and not stale and the meat was so juicy! The mixed platter was so yum! The only negative I’d say would be was that the lamb style chop that was on the platter wasn’t very big and we had got the platter to share between 2.
