I dropped into Luv a Coffee in Beenleigh last weekend, and right from the moment I walked in, I felt like I’d discovered a little local gem. The café has this warm, laid-back vibe—think cozy wooden tables, a smattering of quirky art on the walls, and that comforting hum of people chatting over their morning brew.
I went straight for their eggs Benedict, and it didn’t disappoint: perfectly poached eggs nestled on pillowy English muffins, topped with a silky hollandaise that wasn’t too rich. My partner ordered the pancakes, which arrived stacked high and fluffy, drizzled with maple syrup and a scattering of fresh berries. Both dishes were beautifully presented and tasted like they’d been made with genuine care.
But let’s talk coffee: Luv a Coffee has quickly become my go-to spot for a flat white. The barista not only nailed the velvety texture, but even managed a little heart in the foam. There’s something reassuring about sipping a coffee that’s consistently good; it’s the kind of thing that keeps you coming back.
The team behind the counter really elevates the experience. They’re friendly and always up for a quick chat about which blend they’re pulling that day. On a busy Saturday morning, service did slow down a bit—our food took longer than expected—but the staff were apologetic and even offered a free refill, which I thought was a nice touch.
They also cater well to different dietary needs, with a handful of vegetarian and gluten-free options clearly marked on the menu. Prices feel fair too, especially considering the generous portions. All up, Luv a Coffee feels like the sort of neighbourhood spot that cares about good food, good coffee, and good company. If you’re in Beenleigh and craving a relaxed breakfast or brunch, it’s definitely...
Read moreGoing in with high expectations for Luv a Coffee i was unfortunately let down, noted however, that I do plan on giving a second chance at a later date.
Service earned a maximum 3 star rating as they unfortunately missed an add on food item that I did confirm we paid and ordered however they welcomingly accommodated 2 unusual menu requests. No table service but the menu prices were reasonably lower as a result so no mark down.
Coffee. I ordered a latte lactose free. Milk - too foamy and had bubbles reasonably resembling a cappuccino in consistency. Beans/caffeine- i could not taste the coffee - like almost at all. To me the coffee tasted like milk with a hint of coffee. Seems either the bean pour is too coarse or more reasonably i was given a half strength. Another patron I was with said their coffee was also weak.
Food - poached eggs and food cooked was excellent for me but the sausages left a lot to be desired, my other patron said their hash browns were cold unfortunately.
All in all I would rate as a slightly below average experience but still better than the...

The area where they store the knives forks and waste behind the main TV smells (almost wanted to leave straight away). Fail in making a ☕ with almond milk (2/10). Cappuccino was good (5+/10). Good try 👍 on vegetarian breakfast (6+/10) ( 🍄 +🌰+spinach 👍👍 WOW !) If you want a good veggie brekkie go to RSPCA Goodna (8+/10). Why serve unripe 🥑 ? The chef should check this before plating up. The big brekkie (2+/10. 🥚 2⭐ 🥓 2⭐ sausage 1⭐ ) toast was 6+⭐ the kids brekkie ( 🍳 was 👎 2⭐) * someone in the kitchen taste this stuff before serving it for God's sake ! * .
