Origin Kebabs Grand Plaza — Restaurant in Logan City

The young girl with fake eyelashes and braces with dark short curley red/dark brown hair was extremely rude. She looked angry, unhappy and frustrated when we got there. She got my kebab and another customers kebab mixed up, took it out of the sandwich press to inspect both, handling both kebabs roughly and tossing them on the bench in frustration. As she handed my kebab to me I mentioned to her that I didn’t appreciate her tossing my food about on the bench, and that she looked very unhappy. She then said that she’s unhappy because she has to work in a very rude disrespectful way. (Didn’t even bother to humbly apologize) I work in retail and I can tell you now that she needs to be trained in proper customer service.

I then told her that I will complain about her. She replied that she didn’t care if I complained about her. Would not recommend! We (2 adults) lined up next to the current person being served. Others walked up next to us and starting getting served. We looked around for a line up here sign as perhaps we were not in the right spot. Could not see any. “Server” looks at us both and asks the new person standing next to us if they are okay. Serves them. No one else is waiting except us. She looks at us again then looks away and starts wiping benches. We ask if we are invisible, she says sorry I thought you were waiting. For what? You’ve no food cooking for anyone, perhaps we’re waiting to be served you think? Might have been able to move on from a mistake and sincere apology if it weren’t for the lecture and down right rudeness from this “server” that followed. Plenty of other places to go to. Ordered a 'large' Falafel which compared to other non origin kebab shops is small. Could hardly taste the sauce. Nice presentation. Better tasting kebabs out there. Was charged $16.91, listed price was $13.50 said it was surcharge for Easter Sunday. Somewhat dissappointed with the kebab size - kebab shop at Forest Lake blows origin kebabs away both taste and size - i only ever had falafel there. They come out hot too. Origin kebab was barely warm. More disappointed with the hidden surcharge and ACCC states can't be more what the eftpos transaction cost the business. And I'm sure I was overcharged - more than 25%.
