Far East in Browns Plains has been part of the community for more than 20 years and it is easy to understand why people keep coming back. The restaurant is always very clean and has a welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The staff are kind and attentive and even though English is their second language the customer service is always excellent and genuine.

The food is consistently fresh and full of authentic oriental flavours that taste just as good today as they did years ago. Every dish has that traditional quality that makes you appreciate true Chinese cooking.

The customer service was alright and the people were friendly. But the food was bad, the fried rice has no flavour, the sweet and sour pork is to big of a portion, the onions weren’t even cut up properly and the sauce was just on the bottom, it looks like it was just chucked in there and the won ton soup was alright but could be in a bigger container for what it is and the meat was over cooked. If you can go somewhere else and get quality food and not get sick, I would recommend it. The price could be better as well or it could be cheaper here for the food you get from it.

Chicken fried rice had no flavour and the bbq pork egg noodle was very dry. The noodles itself was delicious but the meat was extremely dry and tasted like reheated meat. We waited 30-35 minutes for our x2 dishes extremely disappointing with the outcome.
