Subway — Restaurant in Logan City

I visited your store around 11:40am today for lunch and ordered two subs. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a Subway.

From the start, the staff member making my order clearly wasn’t in the mood to serve customers and rushed through things. He went to make both subs at the same time, and when I politely asked if we could do one at a time, he became noticeably irritated.

During the order, I never asked for pickles and he added them. when I said “no pickles” and asked for them to be taken off, he responded with, “If you’re going to be rude, just leave!” — which was completely unnecessary. Neither of us raised our voices; I simply gave normal instructions for my meal.

He then applied my sauce unevenly, pretty much splatted it in the middle and by that point I didn’t bother saying anything further because it was obvious he was annoyed.

What really sealed the experience was when I asked for marinara sauce from the meatball tray on the second sub (a special request my partner always makes/which has never been a problem either). Instead of just doing it, he screwed he’s face up and sighed in frustration — making it clear he found the request inconvenient pretty much pouting. I loudly said “Thank you” in a sarcastic tone because his attitude had become unbearable.

Nothing more was said from either of us which is good as my next words wouldn’t have been friendly! He didn’t bag my subs, I ended up bagging my own just to finish the interaction and get out of there.

This was truly disappointing. If someone can’t handle simple customer service interactions or follow basic requests, they shouldn’t be in a customer-facing role. I won’t be returning to...

This Subway is by FARRRRRR the best Subway I have ever been to!!!! No matter who is working, they ALWAYS look after me, they are always extremely friendly. Today both Indy & Payton went above and beyond to make me a beautiful lunch and had amazing chat/banter and a good laugh. They are both gorgeous too. But they really did an amazing job and made sure this happy customer left with a big smile and made me feel like I was VIP!!! I remembered their names, so that I could get back home to send a review. They are both VERY GENUINE girls and AMAZING at what they do!! They also just make you feel like you are more than welcome and almost at home, and make your sub with pure love!! I really enjoyed my lunch and I really think they both need to genuinely get a pay rise of some sort. They are beautiful girls, with pure hearts and you cannot ask for better service from 2 lovely girls just doing their job at Subway. I really recommend this place to EVERYONE!!! Even all the other staff is super friendly and bubbly and I don't know how to post a pic, if I manage to work out how, I will. But holy!! You should see the sub Indy made me. The service at this store is 1 star at best the grumpy and mostly rude staff are about as impressive as the lack of pride they take in making their subway sandwiches!! The way they first shred and destroy the bread before carelessly just slapping the food on the sandwich with no thought or regard for taste or presentation is an absolute disgrace to subway!! The management of this store need to either replace the staff or retrain them and teach them to take a bit of pride in their work because my 5 yr old grandson makes better sandwiches!! I will drive the extra 10kms to the next closest store next time I want Subway because to be honest the service, food and atmosphere is just getting worse every time I go here!! And I would say something in store but there is a really aggressive grumpy woman that is usually working and she is really quite intimidating to both customers and staff!! She definitely does not hide her hostility that’s for sure!! And it’s such a shame because she brings down the whole store!!
