Tandoori Village — Restaurant in Logan City

1st review. One of the best authentic Indian you can have, friendly staff and good service.

2nd review as of 9/4/21 we have been here a few times prior but was a bit disappointed this time, seems like it has changed hands.

The service this time was very lackluster, having to ask for a ice bucket three times and the need to make eye contact with staff just to get more drinks, come on guys this is where some of your best money is made.

Food was ok but the wait for our mains was rather long seeing it was not that busy. The decor could do with a good tidy up.

I must say though it must be a good indian restaurant seeing so many indians eating in the place, as they say eat where the local eat for authenticity.

Price 7/10 Food 7/10 Decor 6/10 Atmosphere 6/10 Service 6/10 Value for money 7/10

Would we go back, maybe not we will however be trying and reviewing other Indian restaurants soon.

We ordered a serving of Butter Chicken and a Potato and Cauliflower curry through Uber Eats last evening at a cost of $35 for the food only. When we opened up the containers, they were about HALF FULL, as you can see. Super annoyed with the serving amount at the exorbitant cost!! For this reason, I don’t think we will ever order from here again as they are very stingy!!!

In response to the owners feedback, I completely disagree as the Butter Chicken is mostly liquid and would have therefore moved around in the car.

Also, the second dish pictured below the Butter Chicken, has a garnish on top proving it was untouched and still only HALF FULL!!

I am not impressed at all with your reply, that I would need to come directly to your Restaurant to get a DECENT serving size. You have to be joking!!!!! I am never going to come back to your Restaurant and I hope other people reviewing this, would be very disappointed in your...

I shall start by saying this...... In 2001, One of my flatmates in Auckland, New Zealand was working at the top notch restaurant in the Sky casino and made the best Indian food, I've ever tasted, it was an experience I've never had before, I've never understood what's all the fuss about Indian food until he cooked this amazing meal for us. Fair to say he was cooking more delicious meals for us from then on. My mind was opened to the complexity and beauty of Indian food.

Fast forward 24 years and I've finally found the taste of Indian food that comes so close to what this top notch Indian kiwi chef had served us. If you live in Springwood or nearby trust me visit Tandoori Village you won't be...
