Zarraffa's Coffee Factory Direct — Restaurant in Logan City

Very ostentatious and vein. The vibe feels underwhelming and unfinished, the decor that is there does not suit the area nor the atmosphere it all seems very pretentious. This is clearly more of an ego stroke for the owner rather than representative of the product. Behind the counter things look very dirty and like staff don't care. Staff at the Cafe ignored customers in order to serve their own office staff first and continued to have personal conversations keeping there backs turned to waiting customers and they weren't even doing anything half the time just standing around. The bar/food service area where a bit more friendly but seemed extremely understaffed with the server having to clean and maintain the whole area aswell. They had one person on the bar/food area covering service and cleaning, yet there where 3-4 staff behind the Cafe the whole time just wasting time and not caring about customers. The one lady from the bar did more work than the multiple staff behind the Cafe counter hands down and the bar lady was cleaning the Cafe area aswell.

It's clear that this place is not designed to suit the local area or population, it seems more like some metro Cafe that is completely out of touch with the needs of the area, not to mention the companies push to turn into an entertainment/night market hub which is completely laughable and going to fail extremely quickly.

Whom ever thought it was smart to put a brewery in there aswell clearly needs to find another job, this area doesn't need another brewery let alone another metro hipster one that nobody around here would even care about. It's clear these must all just be tax write off's for an owner whom is so detached from his customers, anybody with any common-sense would of done it completely differently and produced a far far better result.

This is the perfect example of money doesn't buy brains and a sign of a company that is going downhill and losing...

Kiwanda is an okay cafe. It's quite a strange place for a few reasons. For starters, you walk in and see the decor and think "this looks really nice". Everything is laid out really well. For some reason you can't order coffee and food from the same area, you have to order coffee one end, then run to the other end to order food, then run back to collect your coffee, before your buzzer goes and you can collect your food. All of the coffee blends they have on hand are the same as what they have in any zaraffas store. Personally I find their coffee disgusting, it tastes really bitter, and quality wise is maybe slightly worse than McDonald's coffee or BP coffee. I have been here twice, once I had the house blend and the second time the single origin. Both times it was awful. The second time I got a brownie as well which was sickly sweet and really average. Other things let down the experience like the coffee coming out too hot or too cold. The best way to describe this place is it's the same as any zaraffas cafe, just in a pretty dress and with a restaurant bolted on. If you've ever stepped foot in any other Roastery in your life and you come here expecting good coffee you will be disappointed. One Star for coffee/food, two stars for venue.

Edit: came back and had avacado on toast. The thinnest pieces of toast you will ever see smothered in mashed avacado and ricotta (??) Covered with flowers (??????). Can't come here for food because it's extremely average and prohibitively expensive, and all available coffee beans are disgusting to drink. One Star for the venue, zero stars for...

You walk into this immaculate place and are blown away by the sheer amount of space and tranquillity. Air-conditioning is perfect. What an incredible experience! From the friendly outgoing staff to the amazing 👏 delicate and mouth melting chocolate brownie! Most cleanest environment I have ever witnessed. Every table was spotless. It was great to see that your not on top of each other, there is plenty of space between the tables and enough space to enjoy the cool atmosphere. I cannot bring myself to describe how much I enjoyed the Chocolate Brownie that was offered to me to be heated. Definitely how a brownie is supposed to be like and tasteful. 🌟 That was a perfect recommendation. The kindest lady that served me was helpful, professional and a delight to be served by. Before I ordered anything I wanted to see what the customer service was like and I was not disappointed!
