Stopped for a coffee at approx 11.30am 26th sept 2024. Decided on a quick coffee before heading home, served by a very pleasant young girl at the counter. Coffee arrived reasonably fast. When called to collect my coffee and I asked the young girl at the counter for some sugar. I was looked at by the barista (dark hair and larger figure)as if it was a huge imposition. Considering I didn't ask the barista I had asked the young girl who served me for the sugar, the barista grabbed my sugar and just slammed it on the counter. I then had to ask for something to stir it with and again the barista snatched a stirrer and slammed it on the counter, all done with an obligatory grunt and a look as if she just stood in something. By the reviews on this website I'm not the only one unhappy with the service. I won't return, I refuse to pay money to be treated like crap especially by a junior and suggest you get rid of your deadwood and employ people who know how to treat customers, after all making a buck in this economic climate is about to get a lot harder and coffee etc will be the first thing people will chose...
Read moreAbsolutely disgusted with the whole experience. All I ordered was a toasted ham and cheese sandwich $6.50. That was aprox 12.10 lunch time. It took 12 minutes to be prepared, and I tried to tell the employee to keep it, as I had no time left to wait. She said it was almost done. Hubby had already been fed at another venue close by. A man asked me where the workers were, as for a long period there was no one in sight. He also made comment about staff shortages. Staffing levels may be an issue. I ate half the sandwich, however could not eat the rest. It created a medical issue for me having to stop 3 time between Marybough and Bundaberg. Never eating there again. Who turns the car around and returns food once you have...
Read moreOne male worker @ approximately 1.45pm today. - stood there scratching his head with the same bare hands that were being used to make our drinks. When I said "Excuse me, you just stood there and scratched your head with those hands" he advised me that his hands were not touching our drinks. Well, the straws, lids etc are part of the order as well. Not to mention the shelves of donuts he was standing at. Definitely training needed in health regulations and...
