🎉 The wait is over! @bowltiful.noodles Glen Waverley is now officially open in the southeastern suburbs—this is their 4th branch, ready to serve you! No more city trips when those flavorful noodle cravings hit.
We stuck to our favourites as always—the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup and the Lanzhou Beef Noodle Soup with Homemade Pickles. But today, the store manager recommended the Special Stir-Fried Noodle, and wow, I’ve been missing out!
This dish is a flavour bomb with bold, fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked noodles. It's packed with a hearty mix of crisp veggies and your choice of beef, chicken, tofu, or prawns, all tossed in a savoury sauce that balances sweet and umami. Every bite bursts with “wok hei”—that smoky, irresistible flavour only a top-notch stir-fry can deliver.
What really stood out was the ingredient quality—the veggies were fresh, and the noodles had that perfect texture, neither too soft nor too firm. Pair it with their refreshing Apricot 🥤

Read moreI don’t write reviews at all but this time unfortunately I have to. The food here is as good as the service. I spent about $90 here to ensure that I got as much of the food as possible. The beef brisket was literally cold. I wish I was joking. My thought was maybe I’m supposed to warm it up by placing it in the noodles, but no it was served cold. I ordered their joke of a sandwich and it was literally the beef brisket in a bread, that’s it, no sauce, no vegetables, no cheese, which is insulting. Their noodles were no different. The broth did taste pleasing but it’s immediately overshadowed by the fact that the noodles were raw and chewy. The server tipped some of the broth on our table and didn’t bother to apologise or clean it up as she was too busy laughing. The atmosphere was not pleasing at all. The chefs stare at you behind the glass window whilst you eat your food, and the servers stand in the left corner staring and laughing. I genuinely wished I had a good experience considering I paid $90 and it was my date night with the wife....
Read moreLove the noodles. Fresh, homemade and tasty. Must be cut because so long. But fun to share. Food is fast and setting is lovely, very nice atmosphere to eat in. Very much value for noodle, family outing.
Favourites: Returned twice and love the thick kuan noodle, dry with tomato egg. The dry stir fry noodle is ok. The soup classic beef noodle is nice and meat is really tender, certainly fresh. The skewers taste flavourful too. I liked the side beef curry dish. Soup hearty and flavourful. Like the beef in bread.
I had the Hawthorn tea drink, not my favorite. Much too sweet and thick. Their soy milk is never available.
Overall recommendation from me, great hearty bowl of noodles on cold or warm days.
Update: I ordered from their Uber and the noodles provided are almost 1/3 of in store dish. Understandable because of third party fees etc. They have to cool their noodles before packing so you must reheat at home. Noodle not taste the best. Sadly unsatisfactory online takeaway. Recommend eat in store for warm and fresh...
