I have since my previous review of 1 star had a change of heart. This place is consistent and reasonably priced, considering how expensive everything is these days. Reliable and pretty good quality. And open till quite late some nights. Check it out and decide for yr self. Worth it at least once.

Old review (I wish I could say good things. This is not the Northcote version that's for sure. I was given 1 less serve of chips then I payed for. I ordered a vegan hot bird and got a crappy fake beef patty. Wasn't told they didn't have the vegan hotbird till I payed and came home and called to complain. The cauliflower bites weren't as crispy and quality as the northcote version. And it wasn't just the Vegan food. My daughter and housemate had chicken bites and a chicken burger. Both sub par. This after I convinced my daughter that 300grams was a better option than KFC. I regret that decision. Such a same. I'd rather support small business but this place is a joke. Here's a hot tip. 1. Don't put items on the menu that you don't serve! 2 tell me you don't have it before you take my money! Wasn't prepared to go back in these covid times. Never again. I don’t like to complain but this was really poor! My son was begging me to try this place for ages, so I thought I’d treat him tonight. I arrived to see a young attractive girl, finger picking and eating chips from the Bain Marie. I was even more stunned when she just tossed one back in there. I thought about leaving, but really wanted to get this for my lad. Eventually the young girl decided to serve me, I have to say she couldn’t have been less interested. I made my order, not a please or thank you to be heard after I paid. I got home and we found the chips very good, so was the bread and salad, though it had to be the thinnest meat patty I’ve ever seen, my son agreed. I spent most of the time worrying we might have that girls tossed out chip in our bag. At $46 for 2 burger meals it should have been better, the service and rudeness from that employee was absolutely awful.
