A simple, no fuss, no drama avo toastie is what we love to wake up to in the morning. @acustico32 cafe is where you’ll find a menu that caters to cozy, simple, healthy and tasty breakfast dishes with great coffee and recharging smoothies.
A warehouse turned into a lovely cafe with vintage knickknacks and decor. The vibe here is very charming and family friendly, and you feel like you’re at home.
What we had here:
Smashed Avocado, served on a multigrain bread, with feta, lemon, mayo, smashed avocado, tomato and poached eggs. Very basic and simple ingredients yet it tastes so comforting and yummy. Must try.
Baked eggs, served with crusty bread, this was an indulgent, packed with so much flavours that’s gonna make you fall in love with this cafe. This was my favourite dish here. Strongly recommended.
Ricotta pancakes, such a flavoursome, fresh and extremely mouthwatering these were. I loved how the pancakes weren’t too sweet but was perfect balanced with the rest of the ingredients like berry compote, currants, bananas, roasted hazelnuts, yoghurt and honey.
Strawberry and raspberry smoothie was super refreshing and delicious. Must try. Green juice, is not bland at all and instead it was surprisingly really refreshing and tasty to drink.
Cappuccino was so satisfying and perfectly brewed, latte art was a bonus thing.
The prices of the menu items are impossibly pocket friendly and very, very affordable unlike other cafes. The service is super smooth led by a team of kind, cheerful and helpful team of staff and owner.
So stop by @acustico32 cafe this week, for a great cuppa and for their nourishing and delectable...
Read moreI’m really disappointed…:( my corn toasty barely had anything!! Just a measly amount of corn, a small measly sprinkling amount of cheese and mayo all in the middle section of the whole toasty and then the rest of the toasty was bare soggy bread. I had to go through half the sandwich of bare bread before reaching the corn part, then after few small bites of the actual, very small corn section which was literally like 4 bites it was just soggy bread for the rest of the toasty. Felt like absolutely no care was put into the toasty at all, and a small stingy amount of ingredient was just chucked in one section with eyes closed. It felt so incredible bare and lacking. Like i might as well had just bought bread. Honestly feeling so ripped off. Such a shame because vibe was nice and staff were friendly but I am so disappointed with my meal. I frankly feel so ripped off my money. Was going to inform staff but was hesitant to as I did not want to cause trouble. I regret not informing the staff. Paying and receiving something like this feels really unfair. I am really sad and...
Read moreThis cafe is part of the reason Brunswick-style cafes became all the rage in Melbourne many years ago, soon spread elsewhere in Australia, took over the hip scene in London and are now becoming ubiquitous in New York. In addition to quality coffee there's the individual hand-made and/or assembled style coupled with congenial staff who get to know all their regulars. These elements create a space where you feel comfortable settling in to for a long session or short, participate in the morning quiz or not, and chat with other regulars & staff about this, that or the other, or not. From the original owner Diego who was ably assisted by his lovely sister to the current owners J&J, Acustico has remained true to its principles while still evolving its offerings, both culinary and aesthetic. Thanks for the nest away...
