Stale Flake! I am so shocked to read the positive reviews. I specifically asked the young girl serving if they serve fresh cooked flake and she said yes! I watched as the man cooking threw in a pre-cooked piece of fish into the oil. I tried a small piece of it and immediately spat it out. It was awful. It was dry, tasted off/stale - truly awful. The chips are great, but it was fish that I wanted. I can't wait until Eat Fish Hawthorn, further down the road reopens and once again I can buy freshly...

Went there on Easter Saturday because most of the shops were closed. Ordered Baraamunndi, chips and a chicken souvlaki. The Baraamunndi fillets were well done, crispy with the right amount of batter. But chips were under-cooked, maybe because the chips were all fried in the same basket underneath the fillets, I had to put them in oven once I got home because they were soggy. The chicken in the souvlaki was good, tender and juicy but the wrap was soaked in oil so tasted and smelled...
