Sitting here still waiting for my order an hour and a half later. Woman on the phone says it will 'only' be another 30mins.
STOP ACCEPTING ORDERS IF YOU CANNOT FILL THEM WITHIN A CERTAIN TIMEFRAME.
Absolute joke of a business. DO NOT ORDER
EDIT - yes the company refunded me in full for my order. After speaking to the managers they offered half a refund and the food, or a full refund with no food (after 2hours). We were ridiculously hungry at this point so we wanted the food.
30 mins after I call the shop and they said it's not coming. Call the manager again and they said they refunded it in full "as I requested" which I never did. After screaming we finally got our food at 10pm for an order placed at 7pm and it was cold. 3 hours 4 phone calls for 2 cold pizzas and a completely ruined evening. Do not order from this store until they figure out their priorities.
Managers seem to have no clue how to run a business. A simple call to advise they were running incredibly late and it would be delayed, or ask me to come pick it up or just straight up cancelling it would've been nice. WITHIN AN HOUR OF ORDERING. I shouldn't have to spend my night figuring out what's happening with some pizza.
Never advised that they had to cancel multiple orders. I was told "we are not a charity service". Screams out of a tight business owner who isn't willing to get his hands dirty or put money into the business. Judging by other reviews they are skimping on toppings too as well as staff.
The response below is straight lies.
There are plenty of other pizza shops around the Bundoora area, I'm sure literally any of them would've given better service.
Have a look at the names of the 5 star reviewers since the business changed hands. Interesting stuff...
Read moreSupport disappointing. 2 hours between placing order and delivery. Even half an hour past what menulog said. When it arrived it had clearly been dropped - I have photos of the disaster. Called Manager and sent him the photo - he adamantly denied it had been dropped, made excuses, and started to get aggressive on the phone. I asked him not to yell at me. No offer of a refund or anything. Pizza was also luke warm and soggy. Last time I'll order from there.
Update, following your response - that's a blatant lie! The first photo is what I sent you, just minus the circles. The other photos are close ups, and clearly just hone in on the circles shown in the original photo. I placed my order at 6.00pm, received confirmation email at 6.08pm, saying the pizza was to arrive at 7.38pm. SMS at 7.34pm said pizza was on it's way. I live less than 10 mins away. I rang at 7.48pm, was told pizza only left 5 mins ago and that you didn't know why I received the sms. Pizza didn't arrive until 8pm. I have all the messages and screen shots of all of this to prove it's true. I'd like to see your evidence. I don't care if you have those bags, the fact remains it was NOT hot and it was soggy. If you know that certain toppings on your gf bases make them soggy, then don't serve that pizza! I have had PLENTY of gf pizzas over the years, none this bad. I'm guessing that there's been a change of ownership, management and staff, as the service and food quality has become completely abysmal. And it's not just from one bad experience, but multiple. Several times lately, our orders have arrived ridiculously late. The most recent order turned up 2 hours later, even though we were promised delivery in 45 minutes when we placed our order. We have never had to wait that long, ever, in the 17 yrs that we've been buying from here. 1 hr 10 minutes was only ever the longest wait on a Friday night. So, being "busy" is NOT a reputable excuse, in my opinion. Yet, in recent months, we've been forced to wait no less than an hour and a half every time. And there have been 3 times where the driver seems to have oddly had trouble finding our house. Even though the property is clearly numbered. Then there is the quality of the pizzas and lasagnas. They are just not very tasty anymore. And the pizza bases have been ridiculously hard the last 2 times we bought from here. So, unfortunately, we will be buying from somewhere else from now on.
