THANKS FOR SAVING THE DAY! Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the Bakers Delight Barkly Square team. I felt very disappointed when our local Bakers Delight didn't have my order ready for our 'R U OK day' morning tea, even though I had called twice to confirm the order I needed to collect on the way to work. So I called the Barkly Square store, which is just up the road from work; Tiana answered the phone, was outstanding in her description of what they had available, and even added her own recommendations as she went. I told her my order over the phone, and was impressed with her phone manner and warmth. (She gave the perfect amount of sympathy for my situation, allowed me to be frustrated with the other store, and then helped to rectify the situation!) When I arrived to collect the order, she had my items set aside on a tray so they didn't get squished, and even had a suggestion on how to get the food out of the baker's delight bags so I didn't mess up the icing!! Very impressed with your customer service, Tiana! Fantastic communication, with a little humour thrown in... and yes, next time I'll come straight to you and not go to my local store!! I recently visited this bakery and had a very frustrating experience. When I purchased some bread, the cashier took out her own membership card and scanned it to earn points for herselfâwithout even asking if I had a membership or wanted to join one.
This is completely unprofessional and dishonest. As a customer, I should have the option to earn rewards for my own purchases, not have them stolen by the staff. It makes me question the integrity of this store.

The audacity of this B to look at me as if nothing happened and talked to the staff as if the queue doesn't exist. Don't know if she was blind or stupid or both. I was so mad and pointed at her. I don't know why the staff took the order from her first when there's a long line behind us. Probably won't be buying...
