i love this place because… apart from it being my go to, and right in the middle of the food court, easy, quick, and as an on-the-go great option and whatnot yeah, but also today I just had a little break in my day and i needed a sec so I came in wanting an almond croissant and a soy mocha, I sat down to eat it and heard some pop music ‘just dance’ by Lady Gaga LOL and then a really cool hip-hop track to chill to while I was eating, and then the experience was done and I felt like I had just in 10 minutes had such a cool, full, happy, life’s good minds vibes just like what a little experience. almost hard to describe or explain, but if you know you know kind of thing, you know? thankyou rexy for being there for these times this is a one off but happens all...

One of the rare cafes that are always pleased to see you & one the best coffees. I drink 1 coffee a day & look forward to it being just right. Extra shot cappuccino, lactose free milk & half a sugar free additive. All for an exceptional price of $4. Unbelievable in todays times of Melbourne being the ‘coffee capital of the world’ & it’s exorbitant prices. Why don’t other fancy coffee shops understand that offering soy or almond milk is not the same when I ask for lactose free milk. I look forward to getting my coffee at @Rex Espresso whenever I am in the area which sadly is not often enough. And, they are open past the bewitching hour of 3pm. Best coffee in Melbourne. We have been buying our coffee beans from rex for more than a year now, and we have not found any other coffee beans that match rex beans. A fully bodied, rich, chocolaty flavour, just what you expect from a perfect coffee. Even though my espresso machine is tiny, the coffee tastes amazing.
