Banjo’s bakery is known for wholesome goodness, healthy whole grains, packed with fibre and fresh salad. There foods promote iron zinc B12, protein and gives customers a energy boost.
Bought: -Sausage Roll (supposedly a family favourite)- crispy pastry wrapped around spiced sausage filling. It is supposedly crispy and so enticing, you actually want to buy more. Unfortunately the size is too small, that you are compelled to purchase extra or buy another bigger food item with it. I recommend it is a splendid lunch for kids (popular allegedly).
-Potato Pie (country design)-pastry crust filled with beef in gravy and topped with tomato, diced bacon and cheese. A immense size (for me), effortlessly my stomach was sufficient for the day. I couldn't taste much gravy rather more bacon. It had a strong taste of tomato which I wasn't keen on, although it had less than the picture of it luckily. More soft than crispy, I enjoyed that. It is better to consume this meal in the winter as it is very warm on the inside.
-Vegan Salad Sandwich-2 slices of fresh Stoneground Wholemeal Loaf filled with carrot, beetroot, red onion, tomato, lettuce and chutney. Very fresh, colourful and enjoyable. Family member did not love beetroot being in the meal. 2 sandwiches in 1 packet.
Having only 2 toilets isn’t enough for a busy bakery. Cutlery was made out of cardboard (therefore sustainable), however it wasn’t a pleasant taste (chalky taste) while consuming the food. All foods were presented nicely on simple green plate with a sheet of plastic underneath food. Staff were attentive and friendly and the place was...
Read moreI should have read the reviews prior to making a trip to this place! My bad, but I won’t be recommending or coming back ever! Worst customer experience service service ever! We ordered food for 4 people. I handed over a $100 dollar note and without warning the food was taken off the counter top and was told we are not accepting these notes! I asked why not, and was told too many counterfeit notes! I showed the lady that all “real” notes don’t scrunch up and even showed her the markings that show it’s real. Not interested in hearing what I had to say and said either pay another way, go back to the bank and change the notes or leave! No customer centric capabilities here and clearly management have their heads in the sand as customers won’t tolerate with this level of nonsense! There are many other places for better service and people vote with their feet and money! Look after your customers’, because when you don’t, others will! Don’t waste your time or money...
Read moreStaff are friendly and the vibe is quite nice. But food was very disappointing.
We had the sausage roll, quiche, cheese n ricotta roll, cajun chicken sandwich, curried scallop pie, and the blueberry tart.
The fishy smell on the scallop was very strong, curry was ok. The chicken sandwich was just ok, couldn’t really taste much of the cajun.
The blueberry tart was pretty disappointing. Blueberry wasn’t fresh (seems to come from frozen pack), the custard was quite mediocre, the base was super sweet (more than every other element). Seems they relied on the base for the sweetness rather than the custard/blueberry.
Overall, not a good experience foodwise...
