I used to love their lamb skewers as they were flavourful, juicy, and tender. However, last month I had bad stomach cramps after eating their lamb skewers. The lamb skewers were undercooked and it was still pink in the middle. I vomited twice that day when I got back home, I’ve decided never to come back to this place again.
Updates: The owner’s reply is unbelievable. I could definitely feel the sarcastic tone of the person who told me that “there are plenty of fast food franchises around that consistently serve , semi warm microwaved food.. you may find more reliability there.” Excuse me, I got FOOD POISONING from eating undercooked lamb skewers. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE as this place specialises in skewers. I have had so many great dishes in other restaurants that were made from scratch and cooked to perfection. DON’T MAKE EXCUSES FOR YOUR OWN MISTAKES. If you can’t guarantee the quality of your food, then don’t open...
Read moreAs soon as I walked into the door, a chef yelled out in his own language, trying to tell me not to speak to him. He had a huge frown on his face and came across quite aggressive. I think he was saying that he couldn't speak English. Then a server came and said that I cannot order a single lamb skewer (even though they had a unit price of a skewer for $4.50 each on their menu) but purchasing four for $18.50 is the minimum. I ended up walking out in a bit of shock and they didn't care that I left empty-handed. From their current 4.8 star rating, I am guessing that they have decent food and they may have regulars. However, they need to work on their customer service. My visit to this restaurant was very unpleasant and disrespectful. Even a food stall in a South East Asia would not do this from...
Read moreTW: Racism Alert. YOU HAVE TO SPEAK MANDARIN CHINESE FLUENTLY or you won't get served. I'm fluent in Mandarin but I spoke English and the one guy who works there as waiter and chef instantly said "No English" whilst waving his hands to go away and walked away. When he came back, I spoke in Mandarin ordering the pulled noodles and 5x lamb skewers, once again he said in Mandarin "no more noodles for today". I simply replied in Mandarin "I guess that's how this is going to be" and we left. It was 6pm. They close at 9pm. So... Either poor planning by the chef/owner, or just full on (yes I will say it) RACISM against people who even knows English. I wouldn't support this restaurant at all. PS: menu is on the...
