Had to say I had the worst Korean BBQ experience last night. Was there for a mate's 20th birthday , we had a pre booking however we had to wait in the line for 30 minutes, upon waiting for 30 minutes we were told to wait at the balcony for another 10-15 minutes. After being seated after 5 minutes we were asked to move because they didn't have space for another group whom did not have a pre booking whereas we did. I did not like the mistreatment. Following this incident a disabled friend of mine was offered a fork though he was happy to use chopsticks (very discriminatory, he felt like crying). To top up the incident the gentleman who was cooking our meat had poured 100 degree hot soup on the same guy and didn't even apologise but continued with his meat flipping. The food was pretty good but the service was appalling. Moreover we had to wait for our drinks for 15 minutes. I felt like we were mistreated due to the difference in our ethnicity as our group comprised of white individuals, Indian fellas and Asian people. I'm not blaming the staff themselves as what I was able to observe during our dining was , the mistreatment they were receiving from the manager. They were treated very poorly as each of the staff were asked to cater for 4-5 tables by themselves. Read moreHaven’t been here for a long time since Covid. Didn’t book in but only took us 10mins to wait for a table of two. The dining atmosphere was more relaxing when they were located on the ground floor even though the venue was smaller.
Food is still great if they aren’t burnt. Yea the staff grilled the meat for us but quite some were burnt 😂 We ordered a combo set, extra pork belly, kimchi soup and rice cake plus some drinks. Missed the scallop that we used to order every time we come yet it was out of stock this time. The portion looks small but actually plenty enough for two people.
I do like this place but better staff training is needed. Menus were dumped on the table and a huge sound was made cos obviously the menus were heavy. The girl didn’t make any apologies but just walked away. When the food came we found that no cutlery were provided.
And when we almost finished everything but still waiting for the extra pork belly, I tried to ask if it’s still coming or could we just cancel it. The first staff said she gonna get someone to help me; the second staff said she would check with the kitchen and the third staff brought the ordering machine and shown me that we didn’t order the pork belly. So I pointed at the words “PORK BELLY” on the screen and told the girl here you go. She looked so confused and told me the combination set includes pork belly, I didn’t order extra. So I asked her then why the other content of the set didn’t show up but only the pork belly? She still looked confused and said she would get someone to check for me.
Throughout the dining experience, I asked for help for only two matters - cutlery were not provided and food didn’t come - yet it took me a lot of effort to get help with these two matters. I mean, I do like this place for the food and for sure would come back again. But please, please, better...
Read moreWorst experience ever! I called to book the table earlier and the restaurant said they have plenty of table and I can come at anytime from 6:30 to 7:00. Then I come at 6:45 and they said we are too late that if we are late for 10 mins, they will cancel our table. Or we can wait for another table for another hour or more and there’s no place for us to put the pram for our baby. Very bad attitude including the manager. We leave for another happy Thai dinner. Won’t come again… it just ruined my mum’s birthday!
————————- So interesting the manager is still telling lies here! The time we came in is exactly 6:45 and we are leaving at 6:55, and the funny thing is in the phone they said they have plenty tables that we can come ANY TIME between 6:30-7:00? the manager offered us a really small table only enough for 4 and doesn’t allow us to put our pram beside us, so that means a booster and 4 adults will smash into a small table for 4 people! And that’s how we ask “too much”? If you have a baby is only 8 months then you definitely understand this is a totally family unfriendly restaurant! Just read what he is saying now, and you will get an good ideas how these people treat their customers normally, just so ridiculous! They mentioned their royal customers, I think they might be only people who speak Korean? But unfortunately this is Australia and we are the same customers! And I just have time to read the other post here from other customers. The funny thing is, there are so many customers are not satisfied with this restaurant, until now, the restaurant never feel sorry or try to improve their service,but keeping reply and cursing their customers...
