This cafe is almost hidden in the sense it's off the main rd not visible to drive by or pedestrians unless you're strolling on the beach or pier down at Seaford but OH MY GOD it's worth it! Because of its location, you have a first class view of the water, pier and city in the distance so naturally, stunning environment but that's not why you would come. Sounds strange given the beautiful view, I know, but the food at this cafe is really something special. You can tell quality of ingredients are used because everything is just so tasty and satisfying! Everything is always fresh, the menu has amazing variety and caters to dietary requirements. Not only do you have your gf df vegan options, the variety isn't boring or basic at all. I have so many favourites Its always easy to order and the desserts... again, WOW. It's somewhere I can confidently take all my family knowing we can all pick something and really enjoy our meals. The staff are wonderful. Even though most times it's busy, I am always greeted with smiles and hellos and the service never faults! I took the time to try and write a detailed review because I find when there's a complaint to be made, it's easy to find the time, it should also be like that to praise when it's deserved and this cafe really does. Lately, business, especially hospitality I have found have been struggling post covid with staff shortage etc I've noticed service and care to customers has dropped significantly but here, despite I'm sure similar issues, the staff really try to keep everyone served and satisfied with such lovely attitudes and atmosphere. A real testament to the owner, who is always there making sure everything is running smoothly and greeting customers. Really, highly recommend! P.s, Best coffee I have...
Read moreHad a very disappointing experience with this cafe today. I regurarly take my dog for a walk along the Seaford Beach but never popped in to Beach Cafe Seaford for a coffee. Today we walked around the lunch time and as it's getting quite hot, my dog got thirsty at some stage. I took her to the tap that is located near the cafe, but it was very inconvenient to use my hands and press the tap (I know, usually I have dog's bottle with me, today I just forgot it). So, I decided to ask for a bowl from the cafe and get my coffee at the same time. The place was quite full, so I stepped on the outer verandah and decided to wait until somebody will pay attention to me. Almost immediately I was approached by an Indian male (manager? waiter?) who asked me to leave in a very rude form. I tried to ask for a bowl and coffee, but he interrupted me and said that I can not be here with the dog as there are kids around. I tried to say again that I'm not going in, that my dog is on the lead and that I'm actually trying to order coffee. That male didn't listen to me and almost pushed me of verandah. That was really frustrating. Yes, I'm with the dog. But this is not a 5 star restaurant. This is just a beach cafe and it is expected that there would be customers with dogs... Anyway, I had a coffee from another place across the road. No need to say, that whilst I was having my coffee, my dog had a good sip of water from the bowl that was placed outside by the staff members. P.S. At Seaford Beach dogs are not permitted during the day from 1st December till 31st March. I haven't done anything wrong. But I don't think I will ever try to get into Beach Cafe Seaford even if I'm...

If you’re a person of color, think twice before visiting Beach Café Seaford. My experience left me shocked, hurt, and deeply disappointed by the outright discriminatory behavior of the front-of-house (FOH) team.
Upon arriving, we asked the manager, Jamie, if we could sit outside and have an umbrella opened for shade. Jamie claimed it was “too windy” to open an umbrella. Reluctantly, we sat inside. Within minutes, a white-skinned customer arrived, and guess what? Jamie had no issue opening an umbrella for them! Are we supposed to believe this wasn’t blatant discrimination? We’re not fools – the double standards were painfully obvious.
To make matters worse, the server treated us coldly – no smile, no greeting, no warmth. Meanwhile, the same server was all smiles and exceptionally friendly to other customers, practically grinning ear to ear. The stark difference in treatment was impossible to ignore.
The only saving grace of our visit was the food (absolutely stellar – 10/5) and the barista, who greeted us with a genuine smile and positive energy. Unfortunately, their kindness couldn’t overshadow the unpleasantness of the rest of the staff.
As restaurant owners ourselves, we understand the importance of hospitality and creating a welcoming environment for all. Writing this review pains us, but we feel compelled to warn others, especially fellow brown and Black individuals, to avoid the humiliation we endured.
Beach Café Seaford, it’s 2025 – time to treat every customer with respect, regardless of...
