The Pork Cheek may well be the best thing I've ever eaten. I'm lucky enough to have visited this fabulous restaurant on their 6 month anniversary and spent several hours grazing through their exceptional menu pairing their delectable sides, mains and desserts with a range of great wines, cocktails and even some real champagne! We had the fabulous not-so-lobster rolls, the cheesy melt with incredible tomatoes, same-day made fresh in premises bread that is just perfect, the incredible Hibachi zucchini and pork, Hasselback potatoes and two desserts. We also got to chat to the owners and chef who couldn't be more delightful. The staff and service are exemplary. We were very well taken care of on a busy night. This is the place to go and spend a night luxuriating in the best of everything. Order as much as you can. Try it all! *Update* After a tricky day we made a cheeky call to see if we could do take-away and these champions went above and beyond to make it work for us. Their efforts made our night and turned a bad day around. The staff and team here offer incredible service and delightful food. I've had the Pork Cheek 4 times and it's incredible. Great food, amazing atmosphere and people who care. * I had the fish special (swordfish) and it was fantastic.

From when you sit down, to the attentiveness of the staff, the waitress appearing to have sommelier training and the chef (kinda looks like Isaac Butterfield) coming to check on you throughout, everything is 5+ star for being in a beachy area surrounded by takeaways etc. This is definitely a hidden gem and worth a trip for sure. The food is to die for, the oysters are awesome, I preferred the charcoal baked sherry mignonette myself. Striploin was perfectly medium to medium rare and they brought out fluffy bread to soak up the sauce. Chargrilled calamari was the perfect texture, not chewy at all. Hibachi selection was melt in your mouth. Forced rhubarb/meringue/whipped coconut was so good and a surprisingly good dessert. All round great experience!

Sensational new venue bringing some high quality food and service for the seaford area! Staff are super friendly and enthusiastic and the owner/chef came out and had a chat with all of us and was very welcoming, making us feel like apart of the ordain family. Everyone ordered something different and it all looked and tasted fantastic, we couldn't stop planning which meal we would be buying the next time we came to Ordain Bistro! Edit: The pasta night is a hit! Couldn't choose which one so we got all and struggled to pick a stand out as every single one was sensational!!

We went on a Saturday night with our family (two adults, two teenage children). The atmosphere of this restaurant is great. Its small but nicely done inside with a cosy feel to the place. We ordered 2 of the truffle pastas with a salad, and the kids had the cheeseburgers with a side of fries. We also had 3 of the sticky date puddings for dessert. The main courses were overall very disappointing. The pasta was very over cooked so broke up when I put my fork into it and the overall portion size was very small. This was a starter size at best. We ordered the lettuce salad with it that was 2 medium sized leaves with a small amount of shredded lettuce in the middle. Again very small for the price of $15. The kids cheeseburgers came with some chips/crisps on the side which looked like they were straight out of a packet and had been put there to fill the plate as the burger was $22. You have to order the fries separately which made this a really expensive meal ($34) for a basic burger and fries. The dessert was great but i suspect was not made in house. We were all hungry when we left and disappointed with the $250 price tag (which did include 2 glasses of wine, 2 soft drinks and a non alco lager) As this restaurant has really good reviews I’m guessing this was just an off night.

Edit Thank you for your feedback and apologies for the incorrect price of the salad. I understand that you may be upset by review but that what this platform is for and I stand by the review. Yes it is basic maths to add a side to the main but the cheeseburger was absolutely not a main on its own and the fries (in my opinion) were not a serve for 4 people unless they were toddlers) at best a small serve for 2. You are correct that it is uncomfortable to make a complaint in such a small cosy restaurant, but perhaps I should’ve done and given you the opportunity to correct it, which I will...

Wow in all the worst ways.

We went on a Tuesday which apparently is burger night. This means that although you are handed a “specials” style piece of paper atop a full food and beverage menu with no more of a mention that “tonight’s burger night” you are not able to order from the full food menu that you are provided with. Despite the fact that it is a tiny restaurant and only had 3 other tables present and that we were openly talking about the steak and sides we only found out that we could not order from the main menu when we went to order. This should have been the biggest disappointment but then the food was served.

One “Alota Burger” which was overwhelmingly average and the “Kansas x Truffle” supposedly a buttermilk fried chicken and truffle burger had not a hint of truffle and was so very oily that the bun disintegrated and I attempted to eat just the chicken after literally squeezing some of the oil out of it. The potato skins were crispy but salty beyond rectification. The amount of oil out of the chicken burger required 2 cloth napkins to get the majority off my fingers.

Upon giving this feedback when asked, far more politely than this review, it was suggested that we come back on steak night to which we were both pretty shocked and said no thank you.

The waitress was nice enough and I truly feel sorry for her for having to serve at this establishment but I am still amazed at her ability to hand over a full check without shame or apology. I suppose she has grown accustomed to the diners...
