Belvedere Pizza — Restaurant in Melbourne

Unfortunately we had a bad experience with Belvedere Pizza tonight. My wife called up to order 4 large pizzas for pickup, according to their website they should come to $9.90ea. The lady on the other end tells us the total price is $51.60 and that the $9.90 per large pizza price is only Mondays and Tuesdays... ok fair enough (thats not what the website says). My wife enquires about making it a deal then as its only an extra .30c, the lady responds with a "No, I've already put the order through" she says. It was literally 10 seconds after we had confirmed the order, but somehow this was impossible to change?

When i went to pickup, I asked the gentleman who served me to confirm this, he apologised and responded "yeah she shouldn't have done that, it wont happen next time". Sorry Belvedere Pizza, there won't be a next time.

Also, the last time we ordered from here a few weeks ago, I sat in their shop waiting for my order to be cooked. While I waited, two of the female staff were swearing loudly and speaking aggressively to each other in full ear shot of the customers. It was awkward and unprofessional.

Good Pizza, but severely lacking in...

Tonight I honestly had the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life, I’ve been to Italy more than a handful of times and I can honestly say this restaurant made me smile like that food critic from ratatouille an I relived the best parts of my childhood ;). In all honesty I’ve been getting pizzas from this restaurant since I was 4-5 (im 26) this place has been through different owners. But the people who run it now are a dying breed (not in a bad way at all) the service the recognition of their customers, how they like their orders is truly unmatchable!

The pizza I had today is the best pizza I’ve ever had in my life and at this restaurant. If it’s consistently like the pizza I had I don’t see why this can’t or shouldn’t be Australia’s best pizza place! I don’t leave reviews often I’m a movie critic but when something is special you must acknowledge...

Who ever says this place sells good pizzas. Is absolutely delusional. I'm a pizza addict! And I've had plenty of woeful pizzas in my life. But this place is the absolute worst pizza I've ever had in my life. Asked for no olives on 1 pizza. And added mushroom to another pizza. Get home. Pizza full of olives and the other, no Mushrooms. Didn't wanna drive all the way back. So just took it on the chin. People make mistakes.. then when I decided to eat the pizzas. They had the soggiest bases I've ever seen. Litterally biting into the pizzas and they are that wet. You can taste the water. And that's what made me write the review. I dunno if I was just the unlucky one.
