Betty's Burgers — Restaurant in Melbourne

Thought we'd try the New burger place in town on International Burger day! However on entry noone greeted us, we didn't know if we had to order at the counter or take a seat and someone came to us?? Lots of staff inside and behind the counter but still noone acknowledged us. Staff were all on lap tops doing a course I think as when one finished another one was asked to sit at the laptop. After standing in the entry awhile with no acknowledgement from the staff, I picked up a couple of menus by the door and we took a seat inside, however the smell of frying was so over powering so we moved to be near the doorway to get some fresh air! Yuk! Onto the food, it was OK, nothing great. Just average. Overall a poor experience and won't be returning. Probably more suited to the young teens and families with young kids rather...

I walked into Betty’s burgers Mornington this morning as they had their door open and someone sitting at the table on a laptop which gave me an inkling they were open. I walked in and asked if they did coffee, he responded that he does burgers (that’s fine, most burger places do burger and coffee, but if you don’t you don’t.

When I walked away he started yelling out to the kitchen mocking me asking his kitchen if he does coffee or burgers at the burger place. Was pretty rude, wasn’t that odd of a question to ask if they do coffee. So for the uneccessary rudeness from what I assume was the manager I need to give out 1 star and hope this review can be adjusted...

Me and my friend went to Betty’s burgers today and we were greeted by a very friendly staff member named Aaron. This review is not even about the food (even though the food was delicious!) but Aaron honestly made our day!!! He was so energetic and happy and made us feel so welcomed in the restaurant - he assisted us with choosing which burger to get and did it all with a smile from ear to ear.
