Happened to come for a light lunch on a Saturday. It wasn’t very busy inside around the time we arrived - around 1ish, so it was quiet and easy to find a spot to settle in. Outdoor area was a little busier with patrons.
“Brioche” serves your favourite croissants and pastries, bronuts - brioche donuts, and some savoury treats like toasties, baguette sandwiches, ham and cheese croissants, etc.
I ordered an iced chocolate, and a chicken avo baguette (toasted). My friend ordered a vanilla chai and a croque monsieur (ham and cheese toastie). Baguette tasted so good - a generous amount of fresh avo, and good salt/pepper seasoning. Iced chocolate was presented nicely and a good size. My friend also seemed to enjoy her meal - it was very tempting seeing the cheese melted all over the top of her croque monsieur.
Location is on Level 3 in the outside area just outside where Hoyts and Timezone are located. The space had a lot of nice natural lighting coming through, and we felt very at ease as staff were also very friendly. We were having a hard time deciding where to eat but we were glad we settled on “Brioche”!
I need to come back to try a Bronut and some...
Read moreBeing a regular with my wife & baby boy spending around $12 per day on our coffees and sometimes another $20 for lunch weekly, we have been informed there's no longer a tea spoon of honey for free it costs 0.30c - Jason the barista keeps reminding us & guess what you've lost a good friend & customer today. You've lost our yearly investment into the company & perhaps this review may sway a few others who don't feel valued by good old fashioned customer loyalty. What a shame to lose a good chat & feeling valued by your customers now. It may not hurt you personally, but I'm sure deep inside you wish you could of behaved differently today to good quality people that don't just buy coffee they become part of your business. I'll be going to Saazar permanently now, at least Sally, Alex & Lino always greet me with a smile & offer me my teaspoon of honey without...
Read moreTerrible customer experience. Their bread shop often has little in stock so customers usually have to preorder. Thought we would give them a try. They have don't have an online ordering system like other bread shop so we phoned to order some for the new year. Drove more than 30 minutes to pick up only to be told that there was mistake and none of the bread we ordered was available. They were trying to get us to get an unsliced loaf of bread from the shelf and said that was there only bread that came from the order (we ordered Sliced bread). Was told the bread was "sold out"? (But it was a preorder). Offered nothing to rectify the problems. Biggest waste of time. Never will order or recommend Brioche by Philip again. There are plenty of other gourmet bakeries in...
