C9 Chocolate & Gelato Eastland — Restaurant in Melbourne

I was ignored by the worker there today, some curly haired tan boy, who had seen me wait for quite a few minutes infront of the register waiting for him to serve me or at least let me know tjat he needed some time. I had walked into the store, looked at the food option and walked to the register to purchace something, i stood there waiting, the boy was making a drink for another customer (obviously there is nothing wrong with it), and we made eye contact once or twice, meaning he had acknowledged my existence. He then proceeded to completely ignore me, passing the register and asked another customer who had just walked in what they wanted to purchace, smiling at the girls as if he didnt see me. It was appalling to be ignored by him, especially knowing that he knew i was waiting. I had to leave the store as i had spent too long waitjng to get a single brownie, and needed to catch a bus. This treatment to customers is disgusting and i hope that in the future this sort of treatment will never be seen...

The shop has a large display of their "Thick Velvety Belgian Hot Chocolate" which looks delishious and the perfect thing to order on a cold rainy night. I paid $7 for a small take away cup. Inside was nothing other than a milky weak chocolate like drink that looks NOTHING like the display. Even worse, when I showed the watery milky drink to the shop assistant (who could hardly speak English) he made no attempt at offering a replacement or refund or at the very least, not even an apology! The 2nd shop assistant couldn't care less either. A real disappointment, a waste of money. A wasted opportunity to save a customer! Clearly the staff doesn't care about their customers or the shop's reputation. What a joke to have people like that run a business! . Your ads are deceiving and the product doesn't match what you advertise, which is false advertising at a rip off price. I could have bought a better tasting hot chocolate at 7Eleven or Other service stations for $2. Worse service and terrible...

I had an amazing experience at C9 Chocolate & Gelato last night. The ice cream they served was absolutely delightful. What truly set this place apart was their exceptional service. The staff was incredibly friendly to offer us ice cream even after they are closed, just so that a 5year old is not sad and the kid enjoys a sweet treat.

C9 Chocolate & Gelato has definitely become my go-to spot for the best ice cream in town. I can't wait to go back and explore more of their delicious offerings. Highly...
