Brumby's Bakery — Restaurant in Melbourne

Very disappointed in the quality of the food I purchased today. I bought two pies which I had been looking forward to since yesterday, but unfortunately they were in - eatable. It was after 1 pm when I purchased them however that's no excuse for selling over cooked food. The crust was so dried out it cut the inside of my cheek. I wish I had paid more attention when I was in the shop to the quality of the food. Won't be going back anytime soon. I had to give the rest of the loaf of bread (Sourdough Rye) to the birds. It was so sweet that I could taste sugar on my lips after eating it as well. If I wanted a Brioche I would have bought one! Bread at this bakery is below average and extremely expensive $7.20 for a small loaf of Sourdough. The sweets are average as well and so old fashioned, not much choice at all of products. As a regular customer it is time I jumped online to leave a well deserved positive review! Food is always fresh and tasty no matter what it is I pick up for lunch. A really good range of products (which I appreciate). Service is always friendly and the staff are always engaged and knowledgeable....
