Buza Chicken is an international Korean Fried Chicken restaurant serving dishes inspired by street food found at Hongdae Food Street and Night Market. They've got heaps of unique flavours and marinate their chicken for 12+ hours!
Crunch King (mild) [$23] - This is a new item on their menu and apparently the no.1 fried chicken in Korea! It was crunchy and juicy, but the best part was the seasoning - COCONUT AND HONEY!!! So unique! We got the mild version, and it was slightly sweet and very delish! I think the spicy version would be bomb af too! This was our favourite dish of the night Soy Smoked Chicken $201 - Smokey and caramelised - so yum! I've always preferred bone over boneless when getting Korean Fried Chicken. I just think it's so much juicier! Spicy beef ribs [$37] - The slow cooked ribs were s000oo tender and flavorful! The meat just fell apart (see my stories). The serving is huge and enough to feed 4. A little spicy though Rose Tteokbokki for 2 [$28] - Another huge serving of tteokbokki w/ glassnoodles and toppings in a very creamy and spicy sauce
I had heard lots of great things about this place and can confirm the food here absolutely slaps! The place is a vibe and the staff are so friendly, making the whole dining experience so much better. I'd definitely come back!

Read moreBuza at queen street is our favourite restaurant in Melbourne ever. Probably beat Korean food in Australia to be honest.
We have been here before and had the sausage army stew but today we had the full White onion chicken and shared it along with beef loaded fries. Now please believe me when I say these Fries are out of this world good!!!! I would come back every time just for them let alone everything else.
We also had deals which we didn’t have last time including corn cheese for $1 when spend more than $50. We also got 10% off just for staying at a local hotel as well that they have set up which was amazing.
So all up we actually saved $10 with these deals and got so much food we had leftovers for the day after and their food was just as good the next day as it was the previous day!!!
Honestly you have not been to Melbourne if you have ever been or heard of buza. Try it now if you haven’t already because you are missing out!!!!
Staff are very attentive and friendly and brought food out quickly and hot and fresh. Have never had a bad experience here.
I only have 4 stars because I wish we didn’t get charged 50c for takeaway containers I felt that was a little bit cheeky. Otherwise...
Read moreThe best Korean Fried chicken. Buza is serving up halal certified chicken with amazing korean dishes! The chicken is the best I’ve ever had! Without the sauce, it’s crispy and juicy in the middle. The flavoured chicken takes it to a whole new level! I tried every single flavour and they were all amazing. My personal favourite was the smoked soy and onion chicken with white sauce.
They’ve got an extensive variety of other dishes. I am obsessed with their rosé tteokboki. It’s a milder version of the tteokboki with a cream base sauce. It’s soo good. For the spicy lovers, I would recommend tteokboki. For side dishes, the corn cheese and/or steamed egg is a staple. Kimchi and seafood pancake were crispy, full of flavour and generous in size.
They’ve got a range of cocktails and I tried their buza sunrise and bongbong soju and they were perfectly balanced.
Highly recommend Buza Chicken to everyone. Everything is priced fairly cheap and they’re extremely generous. The staff are super friendly and it’s a great place to hang out with mates. I HIGHLY recommend booking in advance. There’s ALWAYS a line outside and gets super busy. If you don’t book then...
