I go to this cafe often and I have always enjoyed the food, the atmosphere and the people.

Yesterday, however, I was really annoyed by the rude behaviour of one of their waitresses. I got up, paid for my uneaten meal and I complained to the manager.

When I returned today the same manager came to my table and apologised. She even offered to absorb the bill for my lunch and coffee.

Although I did not accept her generous offer of a free lunch and coffee I was really pleased that she had taken my complaint seriously and followed it up with an apology. This is how a business can really show that it values...
