Cafe n Addictions — Restaurant in Melbourne

Cafe n Addictions in Ivanhoe (owned by Tina and her daughter) was the perfect choice to have my sister's wake. I wanted something local and a short walk from the Church where the funeral had taken place. My sister loved going to coffee shops, so the choice of venue was a no-brainer. The spread of food (made in-house) looked and tasted amazing! Arancini balls, spring rolls (so delish), fruit platters, cheese platters, pastries, sandwiches and the incredible 'I-can't-stop-eating-them' Amaretti biscuits that just melt in your mouth.

Tina and her team are delightful, friendly, and incredibly helpful. Discreet service is the best service - food just magically kept appearing! I really appreciated Tina's efforts to make this a special occasion; all my guests raved about the food and loved the location. A quick Google Review check for food around the area got us to this pretty cool cafe.

It can be difficult finding a good place that does no nonsense food and worries less about the theatrics of a dish, but more about the quality and taste! This is one of those places :)

My simple yet creamy, tasty, aromatic and slightly tingly chili scrambled eggs were delicious! That homemade chili oil added some heat and crunch and lifted the dish along with the crumbled feta.

Wifey had the pancakes and she hardly ever gives a dish 10 out of 10. She said these pancakes were next level and were perfection.

And the coffees? Just perfect. Not burnt, not weak and just a solid coffee.

And lastly the service. Their warmth exudes through their interactions with customers. They are polite, caring and just look like good people :)

Will be back when I'm around...

This was a superb cafe; great atmosphere, service that exceeded expectations, and price that honestly made me feel like I was being undercharged.

The waiter kindly and thoughtfully lowered the curtain for us to prevent the sun from shining directly into our eyes. A small gesture, but it shows that he was committed to providing a great experience.

My burger was delicious, and my partners Thai Salad was “probably the best” she’d ever had.

The waiter also, as requested, made my hot drink once I had finished my food; something that can easily be forgotten. Was a good hot chocolate too!

The owner must be proud to be running such a great store and happy to have such dedicated, thoughtful and skilled employees. We hope to return if we find ourselves in Ivanhoe...
