I have been a loyal customer for many years, yet my usual order unexpectedly went from $33.00 to $ 40.00 ( that’s an order of an entree a main and rice when I am batching it - the main from $16.90 to $21.90🤔 ). But $40.00 for takeaway for one person is unsustainable for me a retiree ( owner complained they were paying $10 for a lettuce to justify increase etc etc.). I just cannot see how they can justify about a %20 increase overnight. Pity I will have to look elsewhere.
I had again become a regular customer as I do like the food.
However early September 2024 I rang to order on a busy night and about 6.40 pm and was told 40 minutes ( a long wait but I accepted this ).
Went in and waited at about 7 pm when another customer came and ordered about this time, his order came in about 15 minutes
( I had now been waiting 40 minutes….???: the other customer apologised he had jumped me in the queue)
The female employee who has served me for years wihout ANY issues came to the reception, i politely asked her “how was it that I was still waiting”. She “ screamed at me WE HAVE A NEW CHEF in a very aggressive manner, I told her to “ forget it “ and left without the meal.

The manager told me they didn’t get our order and to contact Menulog. Menulog told me they had placed the order but reissued confirmation and called the restaurant. After waiting another hour I contacted Menulog again and they called the restaurant who promised to have our order delivered within 15 minutes. Meanwhile, our guests left (without dinner) and I contacted the restaurant again after waiting another 30 minutes. The food arrived cold and it was horrible. I complained to Menulog and was told that the manager of the restaurant refused to give us a credit or refund. Read moreHand down the wrost Chinese restaurant in the area. Don’t order the half Peking duck. Got it delivered with our delivery and it’s more like a quarter portion and full of bones. Rang the restaurant and attempted to discuss with them, however got told that their pecking duck is 8 peices not half pecking duck as advertised a menu log. As I gave them the opportunity to rectify the situation ie refund the Peking duck from the order or bring some more. I was told then issue is with menu log and menu log had not sent the my payment to them.
